𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜. I found Bayswater Dental many years ago and stayed loyal because the original dentist — an older gentleman — was exceptional. His honesty, skill, and genuine care earned my trust completely. Unfortunately, he sold the practice. And the person who took over has shown, in my experience, a shocking lack of integrity and professionalism. 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡. 𝐈𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝟔 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬. Situation: Within a few months it fell out. It was repaired on July 12th. Porcelain restorations should last years — often five to ten. My diet is vegan, extremely consistent, and I take meticulous care of my teeth, so this was already concerning. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟖𝐭𝐡. This time he insisted on removing more of my tooth and reshaping the filling. I agreed, trusting that this would be a long-term solution. 𝐘𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡. They had agreed not to charge me… or so they said. When I arrived, the dentist spent less than six minutes looking at my tooth and claimed the break was part of my actual tooth, not the filling — conveniently absolving himself of any responsibility. He suggested bruxism, despite the fact I have regular Botox treatment and a bite guard and have not had bruxism issues in years. And if bruxism were the cause, why is it only this one tooth, the one he repeatedly worked on, that keeps breaking? The answer seems obvious: the work was poor. But instead of standing behind it, they blamed me stating it was bruxism that i have had regular treatments for and no issue in past decade. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐲. Dishonesty. Poor workmanship. Zero accountability. After loyalty to the original dentist, this new management has completely destroyed my trust. I will never return, and I strongly urge others to go elsewhere.

I had an emergency the night before and booked in straight away with Dr Vahid Motahar, and he was great. He said he is a “fussy” dentist, but of course the good type.
