Exceptional Care and Efficiency - A Truly Outstanding Dental Practice ​I cannot speak highly enough of my recent experience at Blurton Dental Centre. From the moment I made the initial phone call, the standard of care was simply outstanding, showcasing a truly well-managed practice from the ground up. ​I was accepted as an NHS patient the very same day and was fitted in for a consultation an incredibly prompt hour and a half later. The efficiency didn't stop there. After a quick x-ray, the team found time to perform a necessary wisdom tooth extraction immediately. This level of responsiveness is virtually unheard of and greatly appreciated. ​The reception staff were the first point of contact, and they were brilliant: exceptionally polite, sociable, and pleasant to talk to. They thoroughly explained all follow-up procedures and clearly outlined the costings, which left me feeling completely informed and at ease. ​The dentist and assistant staff were equally impressive—polite, highly supportive, and meticulous. They provided clear, thorough explanations before and during the work, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the extraction. ​This is clearly a practice that runs on competence and patient-first care. The seamless experience, from the initial contact to the successful procedure and detailed aftercare instructions, reflects a team that is coordinated, professional, and genuinely cares. It is very difficult to understand how anyone can be happy with this place, I have experienced double charging for checking procedures already done on three occasions, the out dated equipment all broke down on me while descale and polishing and I was charged again when I had to go back for the process to be finished and yesterday the construction workers inside were literally knocking walls down within 2 feet from reception the noise was so loud she couldn't hear a thing on the phone or what we were saying while we stood in front of her, it was difficult to breath with the dust and plaster coming from the re-construction, clearly a serious health and safety issue - inspectors need to pay Blurton Dental Practice a visit.

My daughter went for a scale and polish as that's what she was told she needed, she was told it would be £60 when she booked it and when she came to pay it was £120. Absolutely disgusting. I have advised her to find another dentist. She should be paying nhs prices and not private patient prices. They've done the same with my Son now, charged him £200+ for an extraction that should have cost him £75.30 on NHS. Not impressed with this practise, it's no wonder they're expanding 🙄🙁
