I used Brimington Dental Practice for about a year, scheduling routine appointments every three months for check-ups, hygiene treatments, and advice. While the care seemed thorough, the experience quickly felt like a money pit. Each visit required payment upfront, then again upon completion, which I found excessive. Worse, they wouldn’t let me book future appointments without paying for them in advance—unlike my new dentist, where I only pay when I actually turn up.
The reception team was particularly frustrating. Despite leaving messages multiple times for the dentist, none were ever passed on, which led to confusion during my visits. Even the dentist was unaware and apologised, but the issue persisted throughout my time there.
When my regular dentist suddenly left, a new dentist took over and suggested entirely different treatments for an issue with one of my teeth, which made me question the consistency of care. Since switching to a new practice, I’ve been trying to get my records from Brimington, but my emails have gone unanswered, adding to my dissatisfaction.
Overall, my experience with Brimington was disappointing, especially in terms of communication and billing. I have since moved to a new practice where the service is far more professional and responsive. I would not recommend Brimington based on my experience.

I have now registered with a private dentist on which they are wanting to refer me to the hospital for dental procedures. To allow me to go forward with this my new dentist needs the six point pocket charts to be forwarded from Brimmington. I have called three times in just over a week for these charts to be forwarded on either to myself or to my new dentist. All that is said by the reception is "we will call you back" which they don't. This is so unprofessional from a practice which seems to have good reviews. Its great to know that a professional medical practice is allowed to dice around with someones urgently needed medical attention. The saga continues..........

I have to say, my experience with Brimington Dental Practice has been frustrating, to say the least. After multiple phone calls over the span of a week, I was continuously told that different people—ranging from the nurse to the manager—needed to be consulted before I could get a response. Yet, despite their promises to call back, they never did.
Even after all that, the requested documents still hadn’t arrived, forcing me to call yet again. The receptionist I spoke to seemed completely unaware of what I was asking for, which was baffling given the previous conversations. At this point, we had no choice but to escalate matters and mention potential legal action. Unsurprisingly, a link to the documents was sent almost immediately afterward.
I sincerely hope these are the correct files my new dentist requires, as they have now been forwarded. However, this entire experience has left me questioning the efficiency and professionalism of this practice—especially the reception team. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt uneasy about the way things are run here, and I now feel validated in my decision to move on to a new dental practice.
Let’s hope this is the end of the frustration.
