Bupa Dental Care Gorleston

I recently attended two appointments at Gorleston Bupa dental care. The journey takes me well over an hour but I wouldn’t change my dentist even though there are several dentists much closer to my home. My first appointment was for a hygienist appointment with Ellie and Erin. The appointment wasn’t rushed and my treatment was fully explained to me together with lots of advice for looking after my teeth following my visit to Ellie and Erin. I do hope I will be able to see Ellie and Erin for my next hygienist appointment. My second dental appointment was for a filling with my dentist, Jack, and assistant Megan. Megan is always brilliant with me. She knows i am an anxious patient and is fun and reassures me and puts me at ease. Jack was communicative and explained everything to me. I didn’t feel rushed at all and I felt safe and in control even though I was the one receiving the treatment. Thank you so much Jack and Megan!! An enormous thank you to the whole team at Gorleston including the lovely helpful receptionists and the Practice Manager. As I said initially, it is a very long journey from my home to the dentist, but the treatment and care I receive is first class. Thank you!!!!

Today, 24th October I had an appointment with Ellena Rudling -Hygienist. I would certainly recommend Ellena who was one of the best in her profession that I have come across. Her nurse (sorry i don’t remember her name) was also excellent and very professional.

Poor aftercare for patients with potential complications from wisdom tooth extraction. No ability to see a dentist same day if there are complications post removal. Quick enough to take money but thats about all they are happy to do. I think the dentist amd nurses themselves were great, however the receptionists seem to have no understanding of patient care.
