I saw the good reviews for Burnside so I decided we should go and check it out for ourselves. Without pressuring us into anything, Claire at the reception explained very clearly (over the phone) the costs of the visit and what to expect, following promptly with an email confirmation. On the day of the visit, we found the place pleasant and welcoming. And yes, there was a good number of clients walking in and out! Dr. Paolo who served my husband proved very knowledgeable, explained the problem and made good suggestions how we could move on from our predicament. While not mincing words, he helped us relax and face realities, being humorous and no-nonsense all the time. All in all, every staff we met at Burnside knew what he/she was doing, was friendly and helpful. Now I know why they basically got straight A reviews! :) (Passage below written in August 2024) Having now been with Burnside Dental for almost 3 years, I can assure you that the whole dental team is professional and most helpful. Dr. Tom the owner is very well experienced. He also gave me emergency antibiotics over the weekend without first charging me - the surgery was officially closed that morning. Then he helped me relax while going through a root canal later on. The hygienist Siobhan helped fix my husband's gum pockets, and kept our teeth hygiene in tip-top conditions. All compliments to Burnside Dental!

I have been a patient at Burnside for around 3-4 years and the service and care has been outstanding throughout. I am a nervous patient but the dentists, hygienists and dental nurses have always been so gentle and understanding - I would not go anywhere else for my dental care. Paulo in particular was fantastic during a recent wisdom tooth extraction - thank you to everyone at Burnside for the great dental care.
