The dentist was incredibly kind, patient, and explained everything clearly. The tooth extraction was quick, professional, and far less stressful than I expected. Huge thanks to Charles Street Dental Surgery for providing a fantastic service. I rang first thing in the morning, needing an emergency appointment as I was in a lot of pain (and had been taking painkillers for a number of days). Megan is an excellent receptionist and was able to book an emergency appointment for me for that day. Rupert and Anne-Marie took great care of me as I ended up having a tooth extraction. Three weeks later, the gum is healing well and I've had no issues. Diolch yn fawr 🙌🏼

I was scared stiff for Nat to have to remove a tooth for me today, but didn't need to be. He was wonderful, so gentle and so kind. As for Anne Marie...she is just wonderful. So kind and caring and doesn't mind having her hand crushed throughout the whole extraction. Her wicked ways are just what a scared patient needs. A dental nurse like Anne Marie is priceless and just what the Surgery needs. You both had your hands full with me this morning. Thanks a million! X

Anne-Marie politely threatened me with “a different kind of filling” if I didn’t write this review — then laughed so hard her dentures nearly made a bid for freedom. Five stars already, frankly. Dr Nute (that’s Newt, not Nut — though it’s a close-run thing) is the sort of gentleman who probably owns a smoking jacket, a globe that conceals brandy, and at least one suspiciously well-behaved pony. His injection aim? Olympic-level. His bedside manner? Positively Downton Abbey. Megan at reception deserves sainthood for smiling sweetly as I arrived vibrating with fear and sarcasm. She even laughed at my jokes, which is either excellent customer service or a cry for help. In summary: excellent service, delightful chaos, and the faint smell of dental disinfectant and impending doom. 10/10, would return before Anne-Marie starts sharpening her tools again.
