I went Canterbury emergency dentist I throbbing pain and she look at it didn’t touch it and I begged her to remove it because I feared it could turn an emergency situation and she refused to extract it but referred me to a hospital and told me that they be in contact she don’t know when or where I’d be going but then provided one set of antibiotics and I had to request sting pain killers the lady clearly had disapproval of me requesting strong pain killers and her reaction caused me to say I’m sorry if it’s to much to ask …then she responded with it’s ok I’ll do then . I begged her for removal of tooth because it states on nhs website that extraction maybe offered to prevent bigger emgerancey situation how ever the lady would not and didn’t seem very happy when I literates what the nhs website said and it seemed as if she didn’t even want to be there. However if this is the case why do the job.i needed emergency care and extraction and because I didn’t receive the care I needed that evening by 9 pm I ended up my face swelling to the point I have no movement of my right side of face and vomiting nerve damage and. By 2 am I was rushed to hospital in an ambulance and it was there I got help and they had to drain my face and put me on morphine. I spent 12 hours in Accident and emergency due to not really getting the care I needed by the emergency out of hours service . Here is a photo of the severity of my situation I’m still left with no feeling in right side of lip and slight ball palsy from nerve damage

I visited the emergency dentist provided by dental line in larkfield on Saturday night…. The receptionist was amazing kind, sympathetic and empathised with my serious dentist phobia. Hugged me as I sat in the waiting room sobbing. (I am aware my dental phobia is ridiculous but I have no control of it…. Think panic attack, racing heartbeat, shaking, and crying) I told the dentist I was anxious that I was in a serious amount of pain and that I had been feeling very hot a shivery. She placed a temporary filling in my broken tooth (the source of my pain) telling me it was an exposed nerve. Gave me pain killers and sent me on my way. Saturday night was possibly the worst night of my life. I was in excruciating pain all night…. To the point where I wanted to die. Sunday was spent in a&e as when I got out of bed in the morning my face was so swollen that the swelling was up to my eye and down my neck (there was no swelling Saturday night) The dr in a&e was amazing and prescribed me 2 lots of antibiotics as the infection was so bad and had to give me morphine to relive the agony I was in. My own dentist was mystified as to why a temporary filling was put in when I obviously needed antibiotics and said the paperwork I was discharged from dental line with was only worthy for the bin. I paid money (that I don’t really have) to be left in agony…… I did try to go back to them on Sunday but sept 40mins on hold and was in so much pain a&e ended up being my only option.

Great service - phoned Saturday morning - a short10 minute wait and answered by a very friendly, helpful lady who booked a local appointment for 10.50. Excellent dentist who tended my infected tooth socket with care. Washed out, plugged and a course of antibiotics. Felt better almost immediately. Thank you all so much for your help. Highly recommend.

Called at 7:30 pm New Year’s Eve for a broken tooth was in by 9 for a temporary fix staff were great cannot fault them at all.

Called on a Saturday morning, took over an hour for someone to respond and no appointments available. Had to wait until Monday to see my own dentist.

Angela Hammond what a joke she is I was in the chair for less than 10 seconds she put me on antibiotics and painkillers that I’ve already been on and guess what they did not help I was still in pain after 24 hours and no change at all she shouldn’t be a dentist all she wanted was to palm everyone off she see 3 people in less than 15 mins

Phoned waited for a while, women on other line lied said she could not hear me, and cut off rudely, disgraceful service.

Excellent service. Phoned at 0900 answered immediately after long recorded message. Offered an appointment at 1010. Lovely female dentist treated me and got me out of trouble until I could see my own dentist. Thank you all.

Brilliant! Phoned at 8:30am and was given an appointment for 9:30am, seen straight away and offered to extract my daughter’s tooth or offered antibiotics. Given all information to take to my dentist. Lovely, friendly staff made my daughter feel better :-)
