Very friendly service. Had major work done and it all went very well. No magazines to read so better bring a book or meditate.

Go elsewhere!! I called them up to cancel my appointment due to a car crash and my car being written off. I couldn’t get through after multiple attempts so I left a message. They then got me kicked off the NHS list they said because I missed this appointment without letting them know and I missed an appointment 10 years ago. I sent my phone records in to prove I called them, the receptionist was unhelpful. Avoid!!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Sadly, the service here is now terrible both from my dentist and in particular from the reception staff. On one occasion I was given incorrect information on pricing from my dentist who did not know the Practice's own policy on implants and how/when implant appointments could be booked. On a second occasion, I had a crown come off and when I asked for an emergency appointment I was told by the reception staff that this did not amount to an emergency. When I eventually was able to see my own dentist she told me it should have been an emergency appointment. Thankfully, Bupa Dental in Fleet, where I am not a patient, went above and beyond to help me find an emergency appointment with another dentist. Every other dentist I spoke to that day (I phoned many!) said that this would amount to an emergency. Lastly, they seem to change their policy on prescriptions as and when they please with no rationale or ability to explain. When I asked for teeth whitening gel I was told my dentist had to see me first and look at my teeth whitening trays (which she had not made in the first place). This had never happened before and the staff were not able to give an explanation for it. This suggests that the dentist was initially negligent in prescribing the teeth whitening gel on two occasions without seeing me. Staff take a 'computer says no' attitude with no desire to help or explain. Staff were also unable to locate my previous prescriptions for teeth whitening gel on their system. Again, this suggest sloppy record keeping particularly when it comes to medication which requires a prescription. I have now left the Practice and would not recommend it to anyone.

I have waited weeks for an appointment and what a waste of time that was. This last visit just confirmed for me what I started think on my previous visit, this practice is all about the money they can get from you. Really disappointed. I asked her to help me save my remaining teeth as they are deteriorating due to a health problem. (She completely ignored this), she asked, "Do you eat fruit?" I said, "I do". Her reply, "Then if you continue to eat it there is nothing we can do to help you". Offered me a nightguard at £300 +. That may or may not help. What sort of treatment plan is that? Feel extremely let down by this practice. Time to move on. :( 😞

Unbelievably poor service. This rating is for a visit this year for my husband where you cancelled us and then claimed you informed us. No call no text no email, and we had to simply leave.

This practise entered into a steep decline around the 2017/18 in their patient care, quality of the actual dental procedures, what is their very stock and trade has been beyond abysmal! As a patient with a disability I rely on the benefits system for my “income” & I qualify for NHS patient free dentistry. For the last 5yrs of being here I’ve been given the perception that the practise is sincerely DISGUSTED by NHS patients! Making appointments for simply the emergencies only became the only way to get any appointments at all, so routine check ups etc became impossible before Covid hit. Since the worst of the pandemic passed, unfortunately the worst of the treatment by the staff and availability for ANYThing has stuck around. They have reduced their intake of NHS appointments to 1 day a week, which is more than 8 months now in arrears! MY very worst experience for last. In mid 2021 I had an extremely painful tooth that was deemed necessary to extract, the Lady dentist initially said that she wasn’t willing to do the extraction and needed to refer me back to the same surgeon as I went to for the wisdom teeth extractions. But that wait was most likely to be 8-10 months due to back logged COVID referrals, that cannot be helped. But the pain was too intense for me to wait that long, so she agreed to do the extraction. This dentists had molar reconstruction as one of her specialities, so you’d imagine she would be aware of exactly what is required of doing a lower right molar!? Right? Or is that an unfair assessment on my behalf? So we get all numbed up and she behind the procedure, half way through the top half of the tooth breaks off, leaving some of the tooth head/crown whatever the term for it is, and the roots left behind, with the entire double nerves complete exposed and open to the elements, so clearly exposed as these soft bright red squishy nerves. At this point she completely stops the procedure, explains what’s happened and that she cannot continue with the extraction and I’ll need to wait on the original referral to the dental surgeon. So wrapped the session up and sent me on my way with exposed agony the moment the numbing wore off! Agony she expected me to live with for 8 months, unable to drink or chew or even breath cold air over those nerves. So after a hellishly painful night, first thing I phoned the practice and essentially beg for some kind of solution to the pain, only to be told there is nothing they can do for me as an NHS patient! I am on disability income which means I get free necessary dental work. Spent the rest of the day phoning all the dentists in a 1hr radius of me to see if any could help in anyway, all accept 1 who charged £80 for a consultation, which would assess in that afternoon & at best get me in for the extract the following day. So in agony & forced into it, I see this new dentist at short notice pay the £80 on credit card for the consult & he agrees he can remove it, but it’ll cost me a further £220. That afternoon the head dentist guy from Elvetham calls says he can squeeze me in @ a cost £180, cheaper than the new guy, I accept & the next morning the procedure is done, super simply in and out! BUT I was FORCED into spending money I did not have, just so the pain from the original dentists screw up! The head dentist even remarks that “it was an easy extraction in the end”!! No apology nothing at all! I have in the last month had a broken tooth dealt with at my new practise, & first visit the new dentist says that he cannot do a root canal in a 30mins appointment but he can quickly REMOVE the nerves & put a temp filling in as a short term fix. He had it done within 10mins, nerves gone pain removed! THIS WAS NEVER ONCE OFFERED BY ELVETHAM & INSTEAD THEY CONNED ME BY LEAVING ME IN AGONY INTO SPENDING £260 OVERALL JUST TO TRY ESCAPE THE PAIN. IN MY EYES THEY ROBBED ME BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF MY EXTREME PAIN! The new dentist has said old work done here was done badly too. You’re Thieves through and through. It’s disgusting and you shouldn’t bother trying if you’re an NHS Patient!

We took our son for examination. We first used the online form to enquire. They were prompt in reply. We telephoned to be answered by a very friendly team member. We filled out the necessary forms online before we went in. Our boy was ambivalent at first but within a minute of entering, he settled into the warm and inviting ambiance of the clinic and was a chatty self to the ladies at the reception counter. Adults, children, senior citizens frequent this clean establishment. All the team members on the front desk as well as hygienists were professional and caring. Mister Van Rensburg (doctor surgeon) with wealth of experience put our boy at ease in an instant once we took our boy to the first floor examination room. The advice was clear, concise sans jargon making it very easy to understand. Follow up and everything was brilliant as well. Fully recommended. Top class A1 folks in here.
