I would highly recommend Evo Dental Edinburgh. After some research, I decided to visit EvoDental Edinburgh to explore full upper and lower arch rehabilitation I had my first consultation back in November where they took multiple scans and gathered any relevant information needed in order to see if I was suitable for the treatment or not. I had been struggling with severe dental issues for years, including pain, difficulty eating, but most importantly, a lack of confidence in my smile. I’d tried other dental practices beforehand to seek advice, however they advised I would be unsuitable for this kind of treatment due to how little bone I have. I didn’t think this would be possible but I hung onto hope. From walking into the practice and to the front desk I was greeted by the lovely receptionist and manager whom gave me a warm welcome, instantly making me feel a bit more relaxed and at ease. After the first appointment, near the end, much to my surprise Dr Asim told me I was suitable, I nearly cried there and then (tears of joy of course), I couldn’t believe I was actually suitable for this treatment after being told no so many times. The day of surgery was smooth, thanks to the skilled hands of the Evo team. I was given the option to have sedation which made the process more comfortable which helped with the recovery afterwards too. I was checked on throughout the day by the lovely team of nurses in which they kept on top of any medication I needed and any queries I had. The day of surgery was less intimidating than what I once feared. I experienced mild swelling and discomfort for a few days, but the team at EvoDental provided me with everything I needed to manage it including medication to take away. They gave me detailed aftercare instructions, and I had follow-up visits to make sure everything was healing properly. Within a few weeks, I noticed a huge difference—I could chew food properly again, and my smile felt completely natural. Fast forward to May, I got my final bridges put in. Wow! What a difference it’s made to my overall confidence and quality of life, I can chew food properly now and I can now go out without having to worry about anything. I'm writing a review for my mum Sally Morris. My mum was a previous patient at EvoDental getting upper implants 12 years ago. She decided to go ahead with lower implants at an advanced age. From the initial consultation, everything was explained very clearly and the risks clearly outlined. In the end she couldn't have the implants due to some complications with her health. She was worried that she would incur some financial responsibility with her contract and the pre-op visits. EvoDental were fantastic, concurred with her decision not to go ahead and refunded all her money. I was with her for the final consultation and I can't rate them highly enough, from the dentists (I'm sorry i only got Dr Amar's and Verity's name, to the receptionists to the people who dealt with the money side, everybody was thoroughly professional but also exhibited a very human touch.
