Having had an absolutely nightmare of an experience when I was twelve years old, by a dentist who I can only describe as a "butcher" in Wymondham, alas I did not go to see a Dentist for nineteen years, as I believed (because of that horrific experience) incorrectly that all Dentists were sadists.
During those nineteen, my gums and teeth obviously deteriorated, until in 2001 I was in so much agony, literally crawling on the floor in pain, that was going up the side of my face, towards my ear... My Father took me to see a Dentist in Diss.
I explained on that very first visit to Fairgreen Dental Practice, of my horrific experience when I was twelve, and that had caused me to have an immense phobia of dentists. I was so anxious, literally terrified.
The Dentist, Mr. Ali Khodadadian, and his lovely good Wife, who is his Assistant, are both truly wonderful Souls. I did not ever believe I would actually like a Dentist. I can most certainly say I like mine, very much indeed. They are truly, a wonderful, caring and empathetic couple.
I have now been going to Fairgreen Dental Practice since 2001, that is twenty four years, almost a quarter of a century.
My Dentist, Mr. Ali Khodadadian, and the Assistant, his lovely Wife, who is his Assistant, are so calming, comforting and extremely empathetic. They always explain everything that they are going to do, to raise my hand if I need him to stop... He always numbs my gums/teeth, so that I do not feel any pain. His wonderful Wife always puts her hand on my left shoulder and taps it continuously, to help relax and reassure me.
I would not ever consider moving from Diss, as I would not ever wish to go to another Dentist. Mr. Ali Khodadadian, and his lovely good Wife, his Assistant, are such extremely rare Jewels, who have managed to ease my anxiety and who both make sure I am always comfortable. I would not ever trust anyone else near my teeth.
I do not know why Fairgreen Dental Practice receive a single bad review at all, as I have been going for almost a quarter of a century and can truly say, hand on my Heart, the Universe and All That Is, are my Witness, I have not found a single fault with them during these twenty four years.
Marie, the receptionist is extremely welcoming, helpful, polite and professional.
There is a slope into the Dental Practice for wheelchair users, as well as a Disabled Parking space directly at the front, near the slope to the entrance.
I always used to pay for my treatment, as I was in full time employment, as an Accountant. Alas in 2018 I was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. Due to lack of concentration, owing to the pain and my Morphine medication, alas I knew I could no longer give 100% to my job, which I loved. So with an extremely heavy heart, (to say the least, as extremely upsetting to know you can no longer do a job you have always done and loved) I had to give up work in the Autumn of 2020. Since then I have been on Universal Credit, PIP... So I no longer pay, as I now get free Dental Care on the NHS. I have not ever been treated any differently. In fact, Mr. Ali Khodadadian, and his Assistant, Wife are even more empathetic towards me, as they always ask how I am, how I have been, they have both shown great concern for my health, since my diagnosis of breast cancer.
So I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, they are most certainly not "prejudice" against anyone who is disabled, as I am now, I have a "Blue Badge" for my Family to use, when they take me out anywhere, as alas, I cannot walk very far at all.
If there was an Annual Awards for Dentists, I would most certainly nominate Mr. Ali Khodadadian, as he is simply The Best.
