Absolutely fantastic care! I had required a new dental implant and Hatem and his staff were extremely professional and I would highly recommend Fen House as a very good dental practice. I required a difficult extraction, bone graft, stitches and other treatment. Despite this I never experienced any pain and cannot praise the aftercare enough, I even received a phone call post treatment to check that I was okay. A temporary denture was provided to a very high standard. A little more treatment required but the practice have scheduled check ups to monitor progress and aftercare. First class care and great service.

A routine check up revealed I was developing gum decay disease, which was progressing. Receding gums were exposing many lower tooth sections with pockets of up to 6mm exposing teeth and roots. I am 70 and have never had serious trouble with my teeth up til then . The receded gums meant to leave this condition untreated, would mean over the next few years the potential loss of teeth. Dr Hatem Shehin offered a gum laser treatment. After a clear explanation of the treatment and costs I decided that the financial investment far out-weighed the mouth/ health implications of future costs , due to tooth loss and infection. The treatment was pain free but I was a bit sore aftewards as access to the back of the mouth is always awkward!. It took time and a long hard look at my own cleaning regimes. So now its daily water floss... definitely needed...., slow and precise cleaning actions.....mouth wash... a must. So, several months on (the regular check ups were all included in the price) I've just had my last check up. Receded gums now reduced only at 1mm maximin. No bleeding gums and an informed, daily regime that will help me keep my teeth for many years yet. From that experience I then asked about replacing a missing back tooth . Dr Hatem recommended a bridge. Again, a careful detailed explanation of treatment and costs before I decided to go ahead . Every care was taken over the next few months. Dr Hakim took a 3D profile of my mouth to determine the size and configuration and there was a choice of tooth shade to match my own. I'm very happy with the end result. The information enabled me again to make an informed choice at each stage of each of these treatments. Thank you Dr Hakim
