Absolutely disgusted by the total lack of customer care and compassion from this dental practice. My wife who is disabled and had serious health issues was rushed into hospital and nearly died last year. When the dentist telephoned about her missed appointment, I explained the reason and also that she would be unable to attend in the near future because of her health. Now that she is able to see the dentist, she has been taken off the NHS list and has to pay for treatment. Even though I explained her previous situation I was told that it was practice policy to remove patients who miss 2 appointments. This is a typical money over care practice.

Great service today from all the staff at Gainsbrough dental care, but especially Nic The manager, and imran the dentist . They are always accommodating, very professional and friendly. Nothing is every to much trouble . Been using this practice now for over 15 years now, and will continue to do so .

I was a NHS patient but due to me missing an appointment years ago I now have to pay for private. I was suppose to have my back tooth extracted due to root pain which had previously been assessed by the dentist. However at the appointment I was told that there was not enough time to extract the tooth! So the dentist advised to take out the old metal filling and they would numb the root to stop the pain and replace the filling. 2 months on I'm still in pain when I bite down on my back tooth & are now having to find another dentist who can repair my tooth & stop the pain. What makes it worse is that I had to pre pay for my next check up in 6 months. I dont understand why they pre charge for a check up?

i have to pay for any real work done they will only give me a look over for free and maybe a filling but any teeth removal i have to pay privately even though iamb on uc lcwra for multiple heath problems 200 pounds is a lot when you no longer can work its all about money il carry on buying stuff off ebay and do it my self by the looks of things

I had fillings done and deep cleaning by them and the practitioner was extremely unprofessional, she drilled my tooth without numbing my mouth or even offering that option as an extra fee even when I expressed a few times it was hurting , she completely rushed the treatment process, it caused me a great deal of anxiety and really affected my mental health and made me too worried to get treated by them again. They have left me with holes in my teeth and ever since I recieved treatment my teeth have started cracking , raising from the gums. And when I expressed to them the reason I was too worried to go to appointments they told me they would no longer treat me. My teeth are far worse after receiving treatment from them. Even when I had been checked the first time I had to ask the practitioner if I had GUM disease because she didn’t mention it , she acknowledged that I do have gum disease and then completely disregarded it and never mentioned or offered treatment solution for it . I would 100% not recommend this dentist for adults and definitely not recommend it for children as your child will likely grow up fearful of dentists if treated here

Excellent experience I'm very anxious very stressed when going to the dentisit. The hygienist nurses helped me feel at ease. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciate there work and efforts in making me feel comfortable and ease. And what a great job they have done. Thank you very much.

She went above and beyond to make sure my sister was fully taken care of during a time of real desperation, when she was hitting brick walls at every turn trying to find an emergency dentist. Kate is such a lovely, caring person and a true credit to your dental practice. Dr Samara, my Dentist ,and her Nurse Jaymee are a terrific team.I am not a big fan of Dentistry and have found it difficult in the past to deal with my phobias and anxiety.Dr Samara has changed all that and she has performed a number of procedures for me over the last year or so.I feel much more relaxed in their care and grateful for all they have done for me.Thanks to you both
