I've had experience with many dentistries around the globe, and Gentle Dental Care is truly a hidden gem. My relations with the GDC team began over 7 years ago. Since then I don't look any other way. It's impossible to recall a single thing to complain about. This practice is of the highest standard and should be a reference for how things should be done. To keep up with the company's name and carry the standard through time you need a team of professionals and skilled leadership. So my great respect to Chris, the real Gentleman behind the team who holds it in such an excellent state. I remember most of the team members I met during appointments. None of them disappointed me in any way, they were proficient, kind and friendly. Some team members eventually had to leave, but Alice and Laura - you're not forgotten :) Also, I can't help but mention Amanda and Lauren, who led most of the recent appointments and helped assemble tiny parts of me back together. Love from me ;) It's great luck and a privilege to be a patient of the GDC team. P.S. And now I have bittersweet regrets about sharing this information with others as I like to keep the best only for my closest circle... But after another visit with the team and all their gentleness, I've reached a critical state and had an uncontrollable burst of kindness that led me to share this piece with the world.

Chris Pritchard is exceptionally skilled and I've always been impressed with the treatment I've received. Whether in emergency or routine, my teeth have been well looked after here. My father was a dental surgeon so as you can imagine my standards are quite high... If you need a dentist - just come here, its the best place.

What an exceptional dentist I have!! Amanda Campbell is so caring, polite and professional in her line of work. I am extremely nervous about the dentist but Amanda makes me feel at ease and the whole experience from start to finish is just exceptional!! Lauren is excellent too and both together make me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Amanda and Lauren are 2 very valuable members of this team. Highly recommend!

I was on holiday in Saint Andrews and my tooth broke - a big chunk came out! I was pretty nervous but the staff at Gentle Dental and Dr. Chris Pritchard made me feel at ease. Everyone was so nice, I think it was possibly the most relaxed I’ve ever been during a visit to the dentist. The filling Dr. Pritchard sculpted for me was a temporary filling, he said it should get me through the week at the very least, but might hold up and work as a permanent filling, but he told me my dentist would probably want to replace it with something else. When I saw my dentist back home, at first he couldn’t even see which tooth had been broken! He really could not find it, and I mean with the little angled mirror and a little flashlight tool…finally I had to point to it. After two X-rays and some poking at it, my dentist determined that it was well done and would work perfectly fine; he saw no need to replace it. He seemed like he might have been a little bit jealous; at one point he asked me how flossing was going and I swear he seemed hopeful I would say it was a problem. But I explained that Dr. Pritchard had used dental floss on both sides of the tooth before the filling had finished setting to make sure I could floss around it. Truly it was a job well done. So thank you to Gentle Dental for solving my problem so skillfully and being so nice about it. [UPDATE: the "temporary" filling lasted me a year!]

Just a wee note to say I’m so happy I found Gentle Dental Care, being an anxious patient it was important to me to feel safe and secure with a dentist. I don’t have to look any further, Dr Amanda Campbell and her dental nurse, Lauren have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. The treatment I’ve received is first class and Amanda, with her expertise, is very good at explaining what she’s doing to put me at ease. I no longer dread my visits to the dentist, such gentle, caring ladies who I would highly recommend. Pity I can only give five stars.

Let's face it, most of us don't actually WANT to see a dentist or hygienist but Chris and his team at Gentle Dental make the experience as pleasant as possible. The practice is clean and well-equipped but manages to avoid feeling overly clinical and procedures are clearly explained. Everyone is friendly and professional, as you might expect, but there is also a genuine sense of caring and I particularly appreciate the patience and kindness shown towards my late father.

I can 100% recommend Gentle Dental to anyone who is looking for a Dental practice where the very highest standards of patient safety and care are maintained from start to finish of your treatment. It has taken me years to overcome my fear of visiting the Dentist, this was due to bad Dental expieriences way back during my schooldays. Only now since being a patient with Gentle Dental can I now say with complete confidence that my fear of Dentistry has gone, and this is due entirely to all the staff at Gentle Dental and the exceptional skill and care from Chris my dentist and his team.
