I have had the pleasure of having GHB dental care for a few years now. Always felt at ease and reassured with what has been pretty straightforward issues. I would have scored them 5 stars regardless. However recently I plucked up the courage to have my old front teeth crowns removed and replaced as well as others. The difference is incredible! The planning to do this work was outstanding and spot on given I no longer live in Sheffield so needed to plan a timeline. This was all done via email and I was advised to account for any unforeseen issues that may occur. I did have issues arise not with the work done I might add. My dentist consulted with his colleague who specialises in root canal work and together they got the problem sorted within my very tight timeline. At GHB you get dentists who are clearly very experienced skilled and dedicated. But above all you get genuine care, with consideration to your needs and professionalism. I definitely need more than 5 stars to score them as I see fit. They have gone up and beyond to given me the treatment I required during this period. I am a very great full client.

This has to be THE best in the area. We drive a 25 mile round trip to get A1 care. I am 80 and do not wear dentures. When I was 14 years old, I chose a local dentist. and stayed with the practice {s} as they developed. A good decision for a teenager? GHB is up to date. Spot on. It's a shame that we only have 5 stars.........

Had a toothache on Thursday around 2300hrs. Google searched emergency appointments. Paid £49 and booked in for 1150hrs the next day. After examining my teeth, told the costs and recommendations and cracked on and pulled my tooth out at my request. Thanks for helping out, awesome staff from the front door to the dentist. Recommended and will use again. I paid £170 for the service and worth every penny.

I cannot recommend this surgery enough after terrible tooth ache and my dentist not able to remove it for several weeks I was struggling to find an emergency dentist to treat me and stop the awful pain I was in. I found this little gem online and was greeted by lovely reception staff who were very reassuring and put me at my ease while I waited to be seen. The dentist and the dental nurse were lovely and very professional and knowledgeable. After examination and X-rays my very painful wisdom tooth was extracted there and then. Thankyou so much a very happy patient

I came here via the Emerdency service which you can find on Google Knowing I had a problem and not being the biggest fan of dentist's I must say they took great care of me, they explained in great detail the issue, what problems I had and a few options I had. Now some issues are not pain free, unfortunately for me I was based in one of these scenarios but again it was clearly detailed where/when I may experience pain - may not sound like a positive but it's always reassuring knowing they have your care and wellbeing at the top of their list.with no unexpected surprises. I essentially needed to have 2 root canals initiated and a really bad infection draining (the latter being the painful bit) I was there for around 2 hours and it was evident the dentist and his assistant did all they could to help me with the issue. Also gave me a timeline on an after care plan and next steps. Currently feeling great after the work I had done and there are no unexpected fees, they match the site prices Thoroughly impressed and would recommend!

Apparently even though I've been coming for a year and had checkups and treatment, I'm not registered and not entitled to emergency treatment. The Dentist literally spent more time telling me about dental plans than looking at my teeth. I don't get any reminders by text or email about checkups And finally make sure you can go up stairs for xrays.

First of all, the dentist and staff were so kind! I went as an emergency patient. I had been climbing the walls in agony and had barely slept or eaten for a few days. I was feeling utterly pathetic, but I was treated with such kindness and compassion (in stark contrast with my usual registered dentist who wanted to leave me suffering for another week!). The problem wasn't straight forward, but the dentist wasn't giving up. After the usual x rays didn't show a clear cause, he did some diagnostic anaesthetic injections and then an additional CT scan, before talking me through the options. I decided on a root canal which he was able to do there and then, and the relief is immense. I no longer feel like I want to run away from my own face! Thank you! I'm so impressed I'll be switching to this practice. Highly recommend.

Another no NHS, pathetic. Reply to the owner, I called your practice and was told by your receptionist that you do not take NHS patients, if this isn't true may I suggest you train your receptionist to maybe be honest in future as I'm only going on what your staff told me, so I didnt single you out,I'm letting the other people who read these reviews the information I was told. If I was told you was taking NHS then I woulda been and had my tooth done as I'm NHS but after been told by your practice that you only treat private patients, I had to go to somewhere far enough away so it's not my fault if your staff are giving out false information. The other dentists I haven't left a review didn't offer NHS on there Google maps, after all I did look you up on here and it did state you were NHS and Im local so I saw the were taking new patients banner outside your practice before, that's why I called, I'm just letting everyone know about my experience and am offering them the relevant information they need. Maybe your staff did me a favour as I did find the ace of dentists who does nothing but NHS and wow, in and out in 10 mins, excellent service and he said most dentists don't want to do NHS as they don't want to do the paperwork or wait for payments from the NHS but whatever floats your boat I suppose, shame not more can be like him and his team. My husband and I moved to Sheffield earlier this year. After a bit of research, we chose GHB Dental Care because it had a good reputation online and is a sensible distance from our new home. What a wonderful choice to have made! I have had lots of dental work done in the dozen locations I've lived in the US and UK over the six decades of my life so far. This one is the best by far! Everyone who has helped me at GHB Dental have been exceptional in terms of knowledge, technical expertise, communication skills, kindness, and patience. Dr. Solanky and his assistants have been incredible at using efficient, modern methods for assessment and treatments that have made me feel confident, seem good value to me, and have corrected some quite challenging issues. The staff in Reception are welcoming, expertly trained, and good at anticipating needs so everything runs accurately and smoothly and with a smile :-)
