Hall and Smith used to be a vibrant, welcoming practice. Today scaffolding covers the front of the building, the front door is closed and the outside board with the dentists' name plates is a disgrace with large gaps where dentists have left; my new dentist did not even figure on the board. Once inside the area is poorly lit and the waiting room is tired and uninviting; the wall near the window missing a large area of plaster revealing a sodden wall underneath and the carpet needing a thorough vacuum. The turnover of dental staff appears excessive. The staff on reception very helpful.

Oh dear, this dental surgery really has gone downhill recently. Visit today was a bad experience, the dentist lacked confidence which frankly is the last thing you want to experience. Although I only had a descale it hurt, not painful but just hurt, never experienced this in all my years before.

First time with dentist Clara S. She and her assistant, Nicola, were human, kind, professional and thorough during the whole of the consultation. The front desk staff were also really wonderful. I work for the NHS and appreciate how great everyone at Hall and Smith is. Well deserved FIVE stars! Second visit with my new dentist. Once again, everyone from the reception staff to the dental nurses to the dentist herself were absolutely amazing. They are all kind, professional and friendly.
