I had not been to a dentist for many years, due to a very bad experience. After looking around for treatment in England, I was shocked at the cost but more by the attitude of the dentists. By chance I picked up a copy of Metro at the airport as we were going on holiday and read about implants in Turkey etc. This started me looking overseas for treatment , finally settling on Hungary. I approached serval in Budapest and settled on Jokai Dental I sent them a scan I had done in London and they gave me a fairy accurate price for some major work. Extractions , bone grafts and 8 implants to hold new fixed dentures. On arrival my first impression was of a clean, calm relaxed atmosphere. I was extremely nervous and met by the manager Gabor and Dr Laszlo who soon calmed me down. Carefully explaining everything they would be doing The treatment took 3.5 hours under general anesthetic . Temporary teeth were fitted so the implants could take and settle over a few months. Dr Laszlo and his staff were friendly and professional and spoke good English. The second treatment was easier and involved final fitting onto the now solid implants. The whole treatment was virtually pain free although there was some bruising for a few days with the first treatment. The result was amazing .....I could smile without covering my mouth ! and eat properly plus become more confident. Excellent value for the money ...my only regret is not finding Jokai Dental a few years earlier .

Even the taxi driver, Tomasz, deserves a mention for his punctuality and friendly attitude, making the travel experience enjoyable and stress-free. I’m very pleased with the results of my dental work and grateful for the exceptional care I received from the entire team. I had a total of 6 implants and 25 crowns (some to replace existing) and 1 implant abutment. All teeth were fitted with temporary crowns at all times through the process plus temporary abutment which allowed to smile unselfconsciously again. The reason for the treatment was that I had finally lost all my chewing teeth. The treatment involved 2 visits to Budapest. Everything was handled very professionally and the processes were discussed fully in advance before flying out with follow up telephone checks on return. In Budapest there is a patient manager who you meet on your first visit and is there to ensure everything is fine during your visit. The dental surgeon and staff are 1st class in how they handle some lengthy treatments. Everything is done to ensure your comfort and the processes are fully explained and talked through. The value in comparison to the cost in the UK is extremely good even adding on the costs incurred in your visits to a wonderful city. There were 2 options priced which were essential and desirable, there was no pressure on which option was chosen. In addition to the information on the treatment information on Budapest was given as to recommended things to do, currency exchange, public transport etc. All designed to make the visit as enjoyable as possible. I was recommended to this clinic by a friend who had been there a few years previously and was very satisfied with the results and processes.

I’m only part way through my treatment but I can gladly report that everything is going well. I’ve been having issues with my upper front teeth for many years. My four front teeth had been crowned 20 years ago and three of those four were posted crowns. Over time due to gum shrinkage they all started to become unstable. I knew I needed implants but I was not willing to let my UK dental practice do the work because they were far too expensive. I contacted a few dental practices in Budapest to see what they could do for me and I decided to go with this dental practice mainly because of the help and guidance I received from their UK contact Viktor. Initially, Viktor asked me to send him a panoramic X-ray scan of my teeth and jaw line. The dental team in Budapest assessed my scan and a few days later Viktor came back to me with some treatment plan options. Please note that all treatment options included a clear and accurate breakdown of costs. Viktor gave me a step by step guide of what to expect when I arrived in Budapest and he really made me feel at ease. He scheduled my dental appointments and arranged all of transportation to and from the the airport. He was also willing to help me with hotel accommodation but I decided to do that myself only because I had recently visited Budapest on a city break and wanted to stop in an Airbnb apartment I was familiar with. When I arrived in Budapest I went to the dental clinic and met up with the Budapest contact Gabor. Like Viktor he was a really nice guy who was very helpful. I went with Gabor for a CT scan and this was then assessed by Dr Laszlo Damjanovich. I had a consultation with Dr Damjanovich that afternoon and I agreed with him the treatment I required. The following day I returned to the clinic and had my four front teeth removed and implants fitted. My gum was stitched up neatly and I can honestly say it went really really well with minimal pain. I also had some preparation work done on my canine teeth to support a 6 tooth temporary bridge. I was given some antibiotic’s and also a pain relief kit. I had two pain killers that evening but only as a precautionary measure. The following day my gum was a little bit sore but I didn’t need to take any pain relief. Later that week I went back to the clinic and the extremely talented Dr Damjanovich fitted a wonderful six tooth temporary bridge onto my canine teeth. The colour match of this bridge is fantastic. So to finish this long story off I’ll be going back there next year to have my temporary bridge removed and then they will fit the new front teeth abutments and zirconium crowns onto my implants. I will also have my canine teeth crowned. So far I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me. They never tried to pressurise me into doing unnecessary work and I can’t praise them enough for their care and attention to detail. Again thanks to Viktor, Gabor, the team at the clinic and a very special thank you to the very talented Dr Laszlo Damjonovich.

Had a very complicated situation with my entire mouth; I was looking to travel from the US, get implants surgery, and travel back to the US in a short amount of time. I had been doing research for weeks before finally finding this website and the listed clinic. I feel very lucky I was connected with Victor, so must say BIG THANK YOU to him! He guided and supported me so well through the entirety of the trip! Answered all my million questions personally over the phone and emails, and then connecting me to the doctor in Budapest clinic. He was very knowledgeable of the process and it put me at ease when he was able to explain the procedures step-by-step. He scheduled all appointments with the doctor and even airport transportation to/from on the day I arrived. He called me 2 days ahead of the flight to make sure I had the procedure schedule and a place to stay in Budapest. And finally he connected me with Gabor (very nice guy), who was my guide when I arrived in Budapest. So I felt very secure and comfortable. Dr. Laszlo Damjanovich is very professional, experienced and knows what he's doing as a dentist. Everything went so well for me and I have an amazing smile now. Dr Damjanovich was open and communicative through the whole process, he always listened to my questions and concerns and always assured me when I felt a lil scared.
