After more than a decade and over 15 dentists across England (both NHS and private), I have found a practitioner who stands in a league of his own: Dr. Si Xing Li. He stands out not just for his exceptional technical skill, but for his genuine care, confidence, meticulous work, and commitment to patient welfare, as shown in his detailed communication, thoughtful recommendations, and immaculate craftsmanship. My case involved two severely compromised teeth that multiple dentists had failed to properly treat. 1. Tooth UL7: Had a cavity located in an extremely challenging area on the back of the tooth. Three previous dentists had failed to properly access and treat this spot, opting instead for superficial fillings that later fell out. Dr. Sİ Xing, however, meticulously accessed the difficult location, removed all the decay, cleaned the area thoroughly, and placed a secure temporary filling. He also advised me on a viable long-term solution, which no one else had even suggested. 2. Tooth LR6 (The Masterpiece): This was the real test. A 30-year-old crown with sub-gingival decay very close to the nerve and below the gum level. Five different dentists had either refused to treat it, deeming it too complex and high-risk, or didn't provide me with enough confidence to proceed. Dr. Sİ Xing was the only one with the skill and confidence this tooth required. He carefully explained all risks, and I entrusted him to attempt to save it, believing he was my only chance. His work was nothing short of remarkable. He removed the old crown with precision, excavated deep sub-gum decay that had exposed the nerve, and restored it with advanced bioceramic and glass ionomer materials. The work was so exceptional that it was highly praised by the restorative specialists at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital. They noted that his meticulous restoration matched the work of a consultant and was the foundational reason the tooth could be saved. When a subsequent nerve infection required a root canal, Dr. Sİ Xing navigated the complex, calcified canals with incredible skill, always focusing on the tooth's long-term survival. What truly sets Dr. Sİ Xing apart is his work ethics and genuine care. He prioritises saving teeth over taking shortcuts or financial gain. He combines a systematic approach with clear explanations, treating you as a partner in your care. His the confidence and calm assurance of a master craftsman. A special thanks also to his dental nurse, Kerri, whose calm and supportive presence was invaluable. Her professionalism and kindness throughout each procedure genuinely helped put me at ease, making a potentially stressful experience far more comfortable.
