Highly recommend. Never had a bad encounter here, the staff are so helpful and friendly. As with many I'm a nervous patient with all things dentist and they have been brilliant every step of the way, so reassuring and kind. Dentists and nurses have all been generous and supportive. It's been a lot of years since I've been able to be this confident about my teeth and I cannot thank the whole team enough.

Hi, I had an appointment with Sami today for an extraction, years ago I had a bad experience with a different dentist so I was really apprehensive and nervous, but I have to say he put me at ease, I was so well looked after it made my experience a hole lot better Thank you Sami and his dental nurse.Paula Nash

Sami took four of my teeth out on Monday this week. I'd been in pain since mid April, and had other teeth out via the NHS 111 system, but I was still in pain. My gums have settled down so well, I'd hardly know I'd had teeth out two days ago. Thank you Sami, at last, I'm pain free!!

I would rate this dental practice a ZERO. My experience at Little Owl Dental with dentist SAMI AOUANT was one of the most distressing and unprofessional encounters I have ever had. SAMI AOUANT was dismissive and hostile. He greeted me sharply with a curt “Hi” before turning back to his computer, ignoring me entirely. He didn’t wash his hands before putting on gloves, wore no face mask or full PPE, and failed to provide goggles to shield my eyes from the light. When I tried to explain the matter, Sami rudely cut me off, saying, “I don’t want to hear no more,” refusing to let me finish. He probed the painful area without any warning, causing me to flinch in pain. Instead of showing empathy, he threw the probe onto the table in frustration, saying, “Look at you, I cannot perform this examination because you move. This examination has ended”. He never allowed me to talk. Throughout the appointment, his demeanour was threatening and intimidating. SAMI charged at me multiple times and invaded my personal space, getting so close to my face that I felt his breath on my forehead my face was pressed against his chest. He shouted at me, “You are such a....” and abruptly stopped himself. I believe he was about to call me a derogatory or degrading name, which left me shaken and appalled. SAMI tried to physically pushed me with his hand while demanding I leave the room, when i tried to explain and defend myself as he made up a false accusation against me. I firmly told him not to touch me, but he continued to behave aggressively, charging at me and towering over me in a way that made me feel unsafe. I truly believe he was provoking me, as if he was looking for an excuse to escalate the situation further, possibly even physically. He provided me with conflicting diagnosis stating I need an extraction, then my tooth is fine. When I asked to take a picture of my X-ray, SAMI'S hostility intensified. He yelled, “We’ve got Christmas, we’ve got New Year’s, we’ve got business! Take your picture and get out! Go, go, go, get out!” How can you treat a patient like that? In the hallway, the nurse asked me if I was okay, and I said, “No.” She said she was sorry i had a bad experience in the room. At that moment, the Sami Aouant (dentist) came out of his room, charged at me, and said, “We have had a very stressful day; we are the only dental practice open.” SAMI then walked back into his room. I told the dental nurse this behaviour was not ethical. I said I needed to film this situation because I didn’t feel safe, i feared he was going to place his hands on me this time the amount of time he charged at me. When I started recording for my protection, the dental nurse eventually walked on and Sami Aouant came out from his room charging at me yet again, to which the nurse told him i was recording, he suddenly changed his body language and tone, saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am so sorry,” but this felt entirely insincere. The nurse then placed me in a separate room, claiming there was a “miscommunication” and that the Sami “speaks with his hands.” Excusing his behaviour and I told her this was not a miscommunication, she had witnessed his aggressive behaviour, including when he charged at me and shouted at me, got up and close to my face many times. His behaviour was so degrading and inhumane. She apologised that i had a bad experience and said she would bring me tissues, but she never returned. SAMI AOUANT (dentist) is a terrible person who does not know how to speak to or treat patients. He seems to think he is superior to others and that people are beneath him. He is dangerous, threatening, and unfit to be in this profession. From reading other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident Sami Aouant has a pattern of treating patients poorly, and believe he can go even further due to my ordeal. The receptionist told me that Sami owns the practice. I am unable to detail my entire experience due to the length of this review, but I have provided a brief summary of my ordeal. Please never visit this place.

The dentist I had today rude, mr know it all and obnoxious and judgemental, but then he goes and numbs the wrong tooth before an extraction so he also incompetent and not as clever as he thinks. I left the chair In agony and I was then refused antibiotics, he didn’t like being questioned but I also didn’t want the wrong tooth pulled and he wasn’t just one or 2 teeth away it was the opposite side 😬😬🤦♂️ more people will experience this I feel sorry for the people who have to work with him. Stay away from the dentist Sami Aovant you been warned.....just an update after my complaint the dentist have got back to me and said he does not represent their dentist practice and is nothing more than agency but he is still working there and is still treating people like rubbish. I will be taking all the reviews and going to the health bored with the complaints he needs sacking, he is a horrible person.

A big thank you to Olak for his expert, gentle, and painless dental care today. He always takes great care and is in no rush. This, plus, of course, his skilled and experienced hands, make for the best possible outcome. He and his assistant, Beccie, make a great team. They create an atmosphere that is calm, light, and friendly, and yet the experience is a highly professional one. Top-drawer dentistry!
