As a patient of Longniddry Dental Practice, I needed a filling and naturally was really worried but Dr David Brown put me at ease, he talked me through it and I now have a lovely white filling and no pain. Since then I’ve gone back for white bonding on my front teeth to even out my smile. It was painless and looks fantastic! I smile all the time now and am very happy with teeth. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic dentist. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time as i was very phobic. I went initially because i had toothache, the nurses are all lovely and Dave really put me at ease. I now go for all my regular appointments and would highly recommend the practice to anyone. My children also go there and are always happy to go and made to feel comfortable and look forward to their check ups.

I booked in for an emergency same-day appointment due to breaking my tooth over the weekend. Unfortunately, I was shocked by the way I was treated by both the nurse and the dentist. The appointment began with the nurse insisting I had said I was in pain over the phone, which I had not. This continued to the point where I was brought to tears by the way I was spoken to, and I felt I had no choice but to ask for another nurse. The dentist passively observed this entire interaction and failed to intervene or de-escalate the situation. In fact, the dentist chose to tell me that I had made them uncomfortable. They demonstrated a complete lack of professional empathy for my distress. This experience has ensured I will not be returning.

Fantastic surgery. Nothing but praise for David and his team. Have sorted out a range of issues for myself and my husband, including a horrendous viral infection attacking my mouth which the GP was no help with, a sinus issue manifesting as toothache and of course all the normal dental issues.

Since Dr. David Brown started at Longniddry Dental Practice, I have been a patient. I highly recommend his excellent treatment, which is always pain-free. Even my root canal was a breeze. Despite moving to the highlands, I remained with the practice due to my high level of satisfaction.

Had a broken crown replaced that had been put in by another practice and I had never been happy with but tolerated for a number of years. Needing a replacement encouraged me to look elsewhere and I finally picked Longniddry Dental Practice, close to home and lots of positive feedback from friends and neighbours. David Brown took time to talk through all of my options and we agreed a short whitening process followed by a new crown. I was really impressed with the practice as a whole, friendly and helpful reception team, great dental nurses and a dentist that really strives to achieve the best possible outcome. The staff took time to understand what I wanted as a solution and gave me options making sure to talk through them all. The costs were very fair and reasonable and I am happier with my teeth now than I have been for at least 20 years. New crown and whiter teeth and I can’t stop smiling and don’t have to hide behind my hand in photos. Thank you for excellent and caring service and I would highly recommend.

Been treated unfairly said they contact me fir more treatment threw either email or phone call didn’t get either then attend a consultation appointment to get a tooth removed I still need it removed then 2 days later by call a was removed from the data 2 hours before attending appointment now am with out a dentist think if a was a private person a get better treatment !!! So think twice if ur a nhs member needing dental treatment look else where as this place is a complete joke !!

Please not I wrote this review a few weeks ago and since then another filling hass fallen out. Im now going need to go again before my 3month duty of care ends to get the work duplicated again for the 4th time..... MY FIRST REVIEW..... deregisterd from this dental practice, I don't know what is going on but I've been told I've mist 8 appointment wich this is definitely not true, no where near 8, I my self am an NHS patient and had a tumor removed from my spine, I now have 2 rods holding my spine together and have went through other traumatic back issues and had handled sufficient hospital letters to show why I could not attend, I had to pay £40+ something and was taken back on by the practice after reporting it to the health service ombudsman, just recently I called to let them know I was going away and could not attend in good due time beforethe appointment, I was told a new date that was perfect the 22nd, just when I would be back, I said can we go for that, then she said, oh, took s little min and said oh that's not available straight after offering me it, she change it to the end of the month on the 30th, I did explained that I was worried as it was a bit long away incase my tooth may get infected, my partner was with me to hear the hole conversion, and right enough, I got severely pain around 6 days before the appointme, when I called in I was told that I had to pay £45 pounds for a mist appointment on the 22nd, the one she had cancelled, I said no it you changed it to the 30th, but still I had to pay£45 pounds to get help for the pain, so in suvire pain I didn't want to argue and paid it so I could get an emergency appointment, after my dental work was done all numbed about to leave he told me I'm afraid we are going to have to deregister you as you mist your last appointment ON THE 22ND, I was in disbelief so I know something isn't right, and worse than that the hole appointment was made because my metal dental filling he put in 2 weeks before fell out 2 weeks after. I have 3 months to find another dentist but frankly and looking any trust and faith in any NHS dentist, it's just not right and these pop up dentist shouldn't get away with it
