I was looking for a children’s orthodontist in Weybridge and came across Myokids Dental on Google Maps. The clinic is only a few minutes from St George’s Junior School—not hidden, but not obvious either—so thank you Google Maps for making great places easier to discover. Several local parents spoke very highly of Dr Marshall, and after our experience I completely agree. We started with a Zoom consultation, where I sent photos and had a quick chat, and then visited the clinic in person. My 6-year-old is usually very anxious about dental visits, but Dr Marshall quickly built trust with her. She felt comfortable and relaxed, which was a huge relief. Her treatment plan is non-invasive and tailored to her needs, using gentle methods to support jaw growth over time. What impressed me is that the clinic doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—they look at each child individually and adapt their methods. I’m really glad we found Myokids Dental in Weybridge. If you’re looking for a skilled, child-friendly orthodontist near St George’s Junior School, I highly recommend Dr Marshall. Book early, as his appointments are in demand.

I had an excellent experience at Myodental Weybridge under the care of Dr Michael Marshall and the fantastic admin team. I was seeking expansion of my upper and lower teeth archs for myofunctional reasons (breathing and tongue posture) in addition to aesthetic reasons (a wider, straighter smile). Over the period of 18 months I had several treatments at Myodental, very briefly outlined below: 1. Upper and lower ALF appliances for expansion of both archs 2. A removable RN Sagittal appliance for my upper arch (switched from ALF appliance for faster and more predictable expansion) 3. Bonding and clear aligners to close gaps and fine tune the position of the teeth As you can see in the before and after photos, I achieved significant expansion in both archs (compare upper arch in pictures 2. vs 3. or 1. vs 4.) In turn, the arch expansion provided more space for my tongue and improved my nasal breathing (to mention a few of the many myofunctional benefits of the treatment). I also gained aesthetic improvements in my smile and face including a wider smile and improved facial symmetry. I am very satisfied and impressed with this outcome – to my understanding teeth arch expansion in adults is a niche area of dentistry/ orthodontics and Dr Marshall did a fantastic job of achieving my results despite the difficulties of moving teeth in fully grown adults. Throughout the treatment period, Dr Marshall gave me extensive guidance and encouragement at each visit to the practice. In the few instances where issues arose with the appliances, he always made time to see me on short notice and resolve the problems so my treatment could continue as soon as possible. I really appreciated his passion and dedication to getting my desired outcome as fast as practicable – and the results speak for themselves, absolutely excellent! From an appointment and admin perspective, Danielle and Lucy were always very organised and helpful which made the entire process that much easier. I’m very glad I made the decision to complete my dental treatment at Myodental Weybridge. Overall I’m thrilled with my results and I can’t recommend the Dr Marshall and team more highly!

As any SEN parent will tell you, we do whatever it takes to improve the lives of our children…on this journey you often come across some incredibly profit driven directors making the most of a Sen parents vulnerability. Dr Marshall IS NOT one of them! He was incredibly knowledgeable, highly professional and most of all honest. True, as all the reviews read, Dr Marshall is one of the very few child centred directors out there. His actions towards us were proof it’s not all about profits. A truly refreshing professional to come across in this profit driven world. I would happily recommend his services and we surely will be back when ready! Thank you for a truly memorable service

Flew in from Sweden to consult with Dr Marshall's clinic, as such a holistic approach is hard to find in Sweden. My first visit was utterly professional, courteous, and approachable. Every step was clearly explained, and Dr Marshall exuded a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Having returned with a treatment plan, I had reservations due to past negative experiences with dentists. The proposed treatment was complex and carried some risk given my age. Yet, instead of focusing on his clinic's revenue, Dr Marshall took my concerns to heart, acting in my best interest, and referred me to another specialist at a different clinic renowned for such treatments. A truly great practitioner doesn't necessarily have all the answers, but always prioritises the patient's well-being, irrespective of potential business gains. Dr Marshall embodies this ethos. I can wholeheartedly say that with him, you're in safe hands and your dental and overall health will always come first. Some minor feedback: Email communications with the receptionist were occasionally disjointed and not always spot on. However, when raised, Dr Marshall apologised unreservedly and began addressing all emails personally. An outstanding experience from start to finish

My single digit son sees Danny for his myobrace treatment. I’m EXTREMELY happy with the professionalism of the team and the treatment my son has received. He’s been treated with kindness, care and given the best advice and attention to help him in improving the space in his jaw. The treatment is currently on going but 2 years on, my son’s breathing has improved, his jaw has widened, his tongue is being trained to sit properly in his mouth, his teeth grinding and snoring has significantly reduced and the tongue sucking has stopped. I cannot express how grateful I am to Danny and his team for all that they have done for him and continue to do. Danny was introduced to me by a person who lives in Gloucester who’s child was being successfully treated by Danny and I highly recommend Danny to other parents whose children need dental and especially myofacial treatment. Danny’s knowledge in this field is outstanding! He is my and my son’s Angel!

Outstanding dentist. Forty years of experience. I do not really need to say any more. I have tried other major private dentist practices in Weybridge and none of them compare to the high quality and skill offered by Dr. Danny De Villiers. I had a serious issue with a rear molar. I was in agony. My cheek and gums were infected. Danny saved my tooth. He performed a complex root canal perfectly. He reimplemented the top cap better than the one he replaced. My bite is more natural than it was before. One of the main reasons I recommend this practice so highly, is that they are motivated by quality service and doing what is BEST FOR THE PATIENT. The two other private dentists that I saw previously either mis-diagnosed the problem in my tooth or wanted to remove my tooth and put in an expensive implant. Danny did the correct procedure at an excellent price - he did what was correct for me and my wellbeing. The customer service is simply excellent. The service reminds me of the time when doctors knew their patients and were not seen as "clients". This is the Rolls Royce of customer service - personal, friendly, caring and high quality. All the staff I met were intelligent, thoughtful and professional - focussed on providing service. There was no over selling - no extra expensive additional services (as I experienced with other dentists). The fundamental reason this practice is so good is that they have good core values. They value things differently to their competitors and so their behaviour is different. They value you as a person. They value doing the right thing and nothing more. You and the health of your teeth come first. It is easy to trust a maestro of this class and calibre who has the right intentions and who is working for your best interests. The practice is clean and well run. There are no gimmicks. No big tv screens. No huge reception. These are not needed. What you need is excellent care and a skilled dentist. In the times I was at the practice, I spoke to other patients who were waiting. Regarding the people I spoke to in reception, one had travelled for four hours and the other had travelled for three hours. It is not unheard of that people will travel from as far as Devon or even another country to visit Danny. His reputation means people are willing to travel far. I will be taking all my family to this practice. There is no one else I would trust with the health of their teeth. If I could give him and his staff more stars in this review I would. They are in a class of their own. The quality of dentistry found here is to a level I have experienced in Harley Street or Wimpole Street but at a fraction of the cost.
