Booking the appointment was difficult. My details were misspelled, and I experienced issues with both email confirmations and paying the deposit. The doctor's limited availability, due to personal issues, is understandable, but my appointment was cancelled at the very last minute. Later, a slot thankfully became available, though I was notified with very short notice. While the dentist is clearly knowledgeable, I was disappointed with my overall experience. He did listen to my concerns and shared his point of view. However, I felt my issues were not fully addressed, and I didn't feel he fully understood my concerns. The recommendations and next steps offered did not seem to meet my needs. My dental check-up did not include a full mouth assessment and my gum health (periodontal screening) or basic vitality tests (like hot/cold) on my teeth. I also would have appreciated some personalized hygiene tips, products or supplements for oral health. Sadly, the dentist was unable to fully review the dental records I brought (a CBCT scan) due to software issues, which was important to me. I also worry that sharing my past negative dental experiences may have made me appear to be a 'difficult patient' with no respect for dentists—which is not true, as I deeply appreciate the profession. I fully respect his expertise and believe he is a good dentist. However, for me, the appointment was not worth the significant expense. I did not learn anything new, did not get answers to my questions, and did not receive a full evaluation of my issues. I regret not booking with a different specialist and doing more research to find someone who could help me better. I feel I wasted my time, his time (as I am unlikely to return), and a lot of money. I left the appointment tearful and feeling just as stuck as before. I am unlikely to recommend this practice. To be honest, I didn’t find the appointment helpful. It wasn’t a holistic appointment. I regret not reading other reviews beforehand, as there are other experienced, knowledgeable, and award-winning biological and holistic dentists in London at a similar—or even cheaper—price point. I had high hopes, and perhaps my expectations were too high, but I am left deeply dissatisfied, unhappy, and disappointed. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed reading Barbara O’Neil’s book which I found while waiting for the appointment. This is simply my honest opinion and experience.

I Initially went to this clinic after being told I’d need four root canals by a NHS dentist, after my consultation with DR Peter my treatment plan involved one dental implant instead. At NDU clinic they do what they can to preserve your teeth and from my experience they don’t try to take advantage of you and push you to do unnecessary treatments.

I am a 35-year old woman who started to lose her hair at age 20. I spent the last 15 years (and a lot of money) trying to find the root cause of this issue but all I could achieve was slowing down the process. During these years I lost at least half of my hair. Last spring however, things got much much worse. Every time I washed my hair massive clumps came out just like how it all started 15 years ago. I dreaded every hair wash. I went to see doctors again, but they could not help. As I tried to find the trigger behind the worsening symptoms, it seemed that it could be a recent dental appointment, however bizarre it might sound. An old root canal treated tooth of mine has chipped and after an X-ray, the dentist told me that it was improperly done and it was a ticking time bomb in my mouth. It could flare up any time but because of financial reasons, we decided to leave it for now and the dentist just built the tooth back up using filling material. Because of the worsening hair loss I did a lot of research and found a lot of anecdotal evidence on the dangers of root canal treated teeth. It was a gamble but I was beyond desperate so I decided to find a biological dentist who can extract this tooth in a way that would not lead to issues in the future. This is how I found the ndu Clinic in London. I had a consultation with Dr Goran Stojanovic where he confirmed that the tooth in question was inflamed and I was given supplements to support my body in getting ready for the extraction that was carried out by Dr Arash Zaker Shahrak. The procedure itself went smoothly but I remained sceptical and wondered if I just lost a tooth for nothing. Soon enough though, I had my answer: my hair stopped falling out within a week. It’s been over 6 months now and I have so much new hair growth, it looks as if I had my fringe cut. I cannot explain what a miracle this has been in my life. All from a symptom-free root canal-treated tooth. I also would like to mention one more person at the clinic, her name is Elen de Pinho. She kept a close eye on my recovery and was genuinely interested and invested in my well-being. Thank you all for helping me, I cannot express how grateful I am to all of you! Best, Eniko Toth

Having not visited the dentist for a number of years, I was understandably nervous about my initial appointment at the ndu clinic. I need not have been worried. Goran and his lovely staff made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process, from examination to x-rays and recommendations for the future. It is the first time I have visited a dental practice and felt truly heard and seen as a unique human being. After my experience, I am even looking forward to my hygienist appointment! A big thank you to Goran and your fabulous team, for looking after me so well and for providing me with such excellent care.

Absolutley lovely team! I would never have thought in my life that i would ever say that i enjoyed my time at the dentist. Dr Goran was very helpful and talked through every procedure. It was a very educational trip.

I guess if you’re reading these reviews you’re probably debating whether or not to visit the NDU clinic and start your biological dentistry journey. We incase it’s of any help, here’s my story… In my 20’s I had 5 root canals done on two teeth and eventually gave one them and had them both capped in my late 20’s. Seemingly unrelated, when I hit 30 I started developing a ton of health issues. Things like the classics – gut issues, joint pain, brain fog etc. But the worst symptom of all was random swellings on my face which would appear overnight, sometimes so bad my eye would swell closed. I spent years visiting most hospitals across London, all the top hospitals, as well as Eastman Dental, Moorfields Eye, ENT clinics, allergy clinics etc etc. I even saw a functional medicine practitioner and had all the tests under the sun. But nobody could crack it. They diagnosed it as spontaneous angioedema and told me I had an auto-immune condition, but re was no solution. It happened so many times I stopped count at 50, it was too depressing. I had loads of time off work, missed loads of social occasions and wasted a ton of time with my kids. It was hell. Anyway, so I randomly bumped into Dr Goran at an event and we got chatting and the next week I went into the clinic for a scan. He said it may be related to the teeth with root canals (even though all other dentists had said it wasn’t). Fast forward two years and in January 2024 I’d had enough and decided to give it a go and have those two teeth removed and implants put in back at the NDU clinic. It was a lot of money for me, but I couldn’t take it anymore so cracked. I’m happy to say that the swellings haven’t happened once since the operation so I can safely say that particular symptom has been cured. I don’t think I’ll ever completely get over the rheumatoid arthritis (I guess these things stay with you forever) but my symptoms are 95% better and I certainly haven’t even come close to a facial swelling again. Only one implant of the two worked though, but that was my own stupid fault for not taking the recovery seriously enough and eating the wrong foods too early on which cracked one from the bone. So if you do it, please do take it seriously. Thanks team!!!!

I am thrilled to have found NDU as I felt I was truly in the hands of a seamless professional. Peter was so patient with all my questions during my initial appointment. He then swiftly removed all 8 amalgams and replaced them one by one. I was shaking like a leaf on the way in - so nervous after horrendous past experiences with regular dentists, but Peter and his assistant put me at complete ease. Once I’d had one filling replaced I felt such relief at how easy it had felt and I’d happily go again tomorrow. Which is huge coming from me! I listened to my pre-prepared playlist through my headphones during the procedure and did parasympathetic hypnobirthing breathing throughout to keep me as calm as possible. It was a lot of work in one afternoon as I needed a ceramic cap for one tooth to be designed and made too. But he finished earlier than planned. I walked out thrilled with my service and plan to return soon for the rest of my treatment plan - my impacted wisdom teeth removal.

I recently had a fantastic experience at the ndu clinic. Dr. Stojanovic and the entire team were incredibly professional and caring from start to finish. I needed to sort out my tiredness and looked at getting a couple of ceramic dental implants. I was a bit nervous, but they made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Dr. Stojanovic explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The pre-implant care was fantastic – they provided me with vitamins and detailed instructions to prepare for the procedure, which made a huge difference. The implant protocol at the clinic was top-notch. The procedure went smoothly, and the aftercare was not just good but outstanding. They followed up regularly and provided me with all the necessary information for a quick and easy recovery. I quickly returned to normality, and my tiredness decreased significantly. It's amazing what happens when you sort out your cavities. Everyone at the clinic was friendly and supportive. If you need a dental implant or any other dental care, I highly recommend the ndu clinic. Patient care and professional expertise is genuinely exceptional!
