Really happy with Oak House Dental. They took way more time and care with my teeth than any dentist I’ve seen before. My dad’s moved across too and has finally sorted his teeth out thanks to how well they’ve looked after him & given him more confidence. The appointment reminders have been a big help around a busy work schedule and they’ll always do their best to fit you in at a time that works for you. Thanks Andy & Lucy! :)

I highly recommend this dental practice!! I can’t fault them. They have been really understanding of my physical and mental disabilities and make me feel very safe at every appointment. They’ve been very quick to see me when I have had emergencies and fix any issues I have. I am very forgetful when it comes to appointments ect and find the reminder emails very helpful on the days leading up to my appointments. They have been very understanding on the few occasions where I’ve had to reschedule appointments (with appropriate notice) due to having limited funds. I love the denplan, it’s very affordable and it’s reassuring to be able to get regular checkups and treatment when needed. I have no issues when contacting the practice, they have both an online form if you’re anxious about phone calls or a direct phone number to call and they’re very quick to answer the phone/ your online form. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they always make sure you’re ok and comfortable. Andy is an amazing dentist who really cares about the patient and keeping your teeth healthy

I’d like to leave a 1 start review for the following reasons. Number 1 you have a inability to answer your phones (I’ve tried ringing 5 times today and eventually got through ) number 2 , you attended to my Emergancy treatment last time in 2024 which was great apart from the fact you butchered my mouth and left it to bleed for almost 10 days afterwards, nunber 3, I have told you time and time again that I am autistic and have Tourette’s and that I am on the spectrum and that I need to make appointments then and there to progress with my treatment because my memory is not very good due to other health conditions, number 4, you then tell me you refuse to treat my teeth because I missed appointments while my mum was dying from stage 4 cancer (might I add this was in 2022-2023 and you have since seen me in 2024 and still haven’t made any appointments going forward), whilst you mention he did put a discount on the treatment I don’t care how much it costs that’s why i am not on the nhs, I’m very dissatisfied with the service I’ve received on the phone today and the fact you’d happily leave a disabled person who works plus of 50 hours a week in extreme pain because you feel this is the “correct way going forward “ which I might add it is NOT. The name change to incapable dentists springs to mind and should probably be your new name going forward seeming you have no regard for people’s mental or physical status regardless of how “good “ you may be at your job, I will be taking this further because the quality of service is poor, unprofessional and only for the benefit of the dentist and not the actual patient being served, and we wonder the dental industry is the way it is… AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I can highly recommend Oak House dentists in Truro for both excellence of treatment and communication skills of the staff. The receptionists are knowledgeable and always answer the phone and emails quickly. They go out of their way to make sure there are suitable appointments for the patient’s schedule. At first, I was nervous to go to the dentist, but as soon as I joined Oak House, I found Andrew understanding and now I’m OK having dental work done..I had toothache which became worse on a weekend and I was able to get advice and treatment over the weekend. I’ve moved to another area so reluctantly I’ve had to find a dentist nearer.
