Absolutely non-functional, unprofessional clinic that does not care about the needs of their clients.
"Patient first" is when your 6 year old brother with multiple infected teeth is not treated during his appointment, instead he is being prescribed with antibiotics and is told to come back again in a few weeks' time. When he comes back again, guess what happens? He is being prescribed with antibiotics again.
The third time, Dr. Ghabai did not know what to do, as he firstly said to extract the teeth, then he said to heal the teeth, so at the end my brother got a "temporary filling". Of course, me and my mum were not happy with this, and tried to explain to him that this does not fix the toothache and the teeth need to be treated.
So, instead of communicating normally with his patients, the doctor proceeded to rush us out of the room, raising his tone of voice to my mum who does not speak English, and telling her how much of a busy doctor he is (when I clearly told him that he should speak to me as I can translate). As we were going out, Leo said "it's not your country", and "that's not how the system works here". We are Ukrainian, and I have never seen such disrespect towards my homeland from someone in the UK.
After this we decided to ask for another doctor at this clinic, and for antibiotics to be prescribed to keep the infection down until hopefully in the next appointment some treatment will actually be done on the teeth. Well, the doctor has prescribed antibiotics without a name. The pharmacists were quite shocked too.
And as a cherry on top of the cake, when we finally saw the new doctor, he did not treat the teeth either! His advice was... To put some toothpaste on the hurting tooth! Absolutely ridiculous.
As my brother still complained of severe toothache, they referred us to a sedation clinic where a tooth extraction could take up to 6 months, or we could pay the Dento Beauty Clinic (also owned by the same people) £200 to do the extraction... When you express any dissatisfaction with his service, the doctor waves his hand at you and tells you to go to a different clinic - I guess that's his meaning of "Patient First".
Eventually we heeded the doctor's advice and went to a different clinic, where my brother had one of his tooth extracted with a local anaesthetic next day, and the rest treated in two week's time: 5 fillings done, and the infection cleaned out of the teeth where needed. All absolutely free of charge under NHS. Perhaps the owner's "system" only applies at "Patient's First" (more like Patients' Money First).
Avoid this clinic at all costs if you want your child's teeth to be treated properly and in a timely manner, and if you'd like you and your family to be treated with respect and understanding of your needs.
