I’ve had appointments cancelled more times than I have been seen. The receptionists are argumentative and borderline condescending. I had booking privately for a scale and polish because the NHS practice dentist said it wasn’t clinically needed. Now it has come to the day of my appointment, the NHS dentist has cancelled my check-up appointment and I was told that the scale and polish had to be brought forward to 11-11:50 which I could not attend. I rang the receptionist and told her about my frustration with the appointment being cancelled multiple times because my teeth are sore and she said “we’ve only cancelled twice”. I then asked for a refund and explained that I needed to go elsewhere because I have been waiting so long for a hygiene appointment, I was told that if I was going somewhere else I would be taken off of their system because somebody else would want the space. I’ve have nothing but negative experiences at this practice and it seems to get increasingly worse!

I visited this practice for the first time yesterday as a private patient for a hygienist appointment, and I was really impressed. The hygienist was fantastic – I usually dislike these appointments, but she made me feel comfortable and at ease while also making the experience personal. She was very informative, explaining effective brushing techniques and recommending the right type of floss for me. The customer service was excellent, and I’m so pleased to have found such a highly skilled hygienist!
