If I could give 0 stars I would. Starting first, the lack of communication. Inaccurate details given, changing of dates without actually being phoned to confirm the changes. Secondly, rude male receptionist, no understanding, no comparison and overall rude and obviously had no clue about customer services. On my first visit, after the cancelation of my first (which I was not updated prior, only advised of changes when I happened to call), I arrived on time as soon as they opened and as per the appointment time given. Door was locked so I continue to knock on the door for 5 miniyes minutes. Whenthe door was finally opened, I was told to wait outsidw. I then said my appointment was booked for 5 minutes prior. She then said, we are having a meeting and told me to wait in the nasty looking reception area which I did. I could hear lots of noise upstairs where all the staff were, and realised that they were actually celebrating someones birthday. I had to wait a further 10 minutes and was told to calm down when I inquired how much longer it would take. The male receptionist was dismissive and rude.
On being seen eventually, I was told it was a consultation and not the actual procedure (something I was not made aware of prior) which annoyed me as I then had to book off more time from work. After being given a new date for the procedure, I asked what was required on the day. I was told I would need someone to collect me as I would be under anesthetic, so I arranged this. There was no email or text follow up to confirm anything just a slip of paper that I was handed, no one pointed out any information on the slip that may have come in useful.
On the day of the procedure, my husband dropped me off an went to work. I had arranged for a friend to collect me. On going to reception, I was then told I could not proceed without someone waiting for me in the reception area. I explained that I was not told this before and had been told as long as someone could collect me, it would be fine. The same rude receptionist just raised his eyebrows and told me it was not his problem. I was fuming at this point. Luckily my husband was not too far away and came back and had to go back to work late which annoyed me, as he had an important meeting to attend.
On then finally going in to be anesthetized, everying went wrong.
I explained I have tendency to pass out with needles, rather than consider that, they decided to continue trying to train someone who obviously had no experience, stick the needle in my arm. The strap was so tight my arm was bulging on both sides and the trainee nurse kept messing up the injection. I'm screaming at this point for them to get off me. They carried on. It was only when I almost passed out that the whole crappy situation was stopped. I have blood tests and injections every few months being an ex Cancer patient, so I really was not overreacting, I had juts never experienced anything like it.
Never had the work done. They referred me back to the hospital.
Trying to then get a refund for the procedure also took Emails and 6 phone calls.... never, ever again!
