I’ve been coming to this practice for over 6 years now and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! I had my Invisalign treatment with Dr Farah and regular treatments and cleans with Dr Ali and the wider team. They always make me feel at ease and I never feel nervous about coming to the dentist anymore. They helped me achieve the smile I have always wanted. The team is welcoming from the moment you walk in and they explain everything clearly. My teeth look great and I get compliments all the time. I’m always happy with the results and the care I receive and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Now my family and friends also visit the practice and are happy with their treatments. Thank you!

Very young rude manners young man dentist n his female colleague with him ….sad 2025 and no effort to smile felt uncomfortable. No matter how nice we are . They didnt even check at first then just judged . Continuing review after the false allegations from dr ali im assuming your absolute in disbelief that a patient reviewed true concerns regarding your behaviour and made us feel very uncomfortable u just stated the whole appointment which is confidential and yet fake ! U have no right to write a fake occurrence that didn’t happen in that way to protect ur self from a honest review u disliked! I clearly have a right to put my true feelings up how i felt utterly shocked for a dentist specialist to feel he has to make list of things up unfortunately im not happy i will be taking it further for investigation our confidential information was put across in such a fake manner in a review Clearly u was rude very rude infact u didn’t even check his mouth to address the tooth wasn’t even there it fell out , we was talking about another tooth the calls made to us were not regarding that tooth atbleast check if the tooth is there instead of standing n being rude regardless i explained the calls , i had to make u check his mouth again thats when u realise theres no tooth n the pains from the other side ! All u was saying dont come here again or call us if theres pain i will not see u wow !! Rude!!! After u realise thats not the tooth i made u put a filling in for tem pain which u was dismissive for on check you clearly rejected his painfull tooth in pain luckly i did ur job for u and informed u to check as there pain on check u realised its a different tooth lool? Do u recall now . And then put filling in after i requested u too . Then u made it clear Again do not ring us when theres pain very rude unnecessary behaviour of a dentist! Young rude dentist if u dont like ur job dont take a patient on !!! Absolutely Disgraced with ur false statement ! And spreading confidential information out most false information from a sensitive dentist .

I have been using Sherwood Dental practice for over 20 years and have always found Dr Ali and his team to be professional, caring, and above all, responsive to any dental problems that my family (and now including Grandchildren) have had. They are always willing to go "the extra mile" to get us an appointment at short notice whenever the need has arisen. I have many friends who use the practice, and they all say the same. I originally left a 1-star review a few years ago because the first dentist I saw left my teeth so sharp they were cutting my mouth open every time I spoke. My entire mouth was cut, and when I returned, instead of acknowledging the damage, she told me to “brush my teeth more,” which was completely unacceptable considering the issue was caused by her work. I was later asked to remove my review and come back to be seen by the owner so the problem could be corrected. After supposedly fixing my teeth, I returned again because there was still a gap between two teeth. I was told everything was “fine,” even though the issue had not been resolved. I trusted their reassurance. Had he not given me the confidence that my teeth were okay, I could have taken steps to prevent further complications with the teeth he worked on. Instead, the problem was dismissed, and I was left dealing with the consequences. I understand that dentistry is a business, and it’s normal to be money-driven in 2025. But this should never come at the expense of patients especially NHS patients. The practice seems to lean heavily toward private work while still benefiting from NHS funding, with NHS patients often being given inexperienced dentists. I saw Ali privately and was initially happy to stay with him, despite losing a dentist I had trusted for over 15 years. However, after seeing a new dentist elsewhere, I was told there is no contact point at all the exact issue I had gone back for when Ali insisted everything was fine. I don’t appreciate being treated as though I cannot afford to maintain my teeth or my health. Sadly, that is exactly how I felt here. This surgery has spiralled far from the excellent practice it once was.
