Having been suffering with teeth grinding and clenching for nearly a year, I sought out masseter botox treatment. Dr Karishma provides aesthetic services and is also a dentist at the practice. As Dr Karishma was going to be doing the botox, I thought I may as well sign up to this dental practice. Having read the reviews, I felt assured I was in good hands. Regarding the dental treatment - After paying a £30 deposit and then £64 for the initial consultation (in which we discussed the amount of pain and sensitivity I was experiencing) on 13th March, it transpired I also needed two fillings. After I had paid, I was informed the next available appointment was on 25th April - 1.5 months away, which is quite shocking. If I had known the waiting time for an appointment was this long, I would never have signed up at the practice. The wait time is so significant and a disclaimer certainly should have been given. As a private practice, you’d expect a certain quality of service. To me, this says that the practice cannot deliver swift appointments and are oversubscribed. There was the option to be put onto a ‘cancellation list’ to be notified of an earlier appointment. Regarding the botox treatment - This has now been cancelled ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’. I anticipate it was cancelled due to the challenge provided. If you’re suffering from any kind of dental emergency or any issues which require immediate pain relief, this is not the clinic for you.
