I'm yet again disappointed with customer service...lack of knowledge..and cut me of the call plus as I've just started uc I was told i needed to pay 70pd for a check up I've now received a penital notice of 170pd even though I was at the counter about another appointment so why didn't she say hiw much I needed to pay..

Booked hygienist appointment face to face as practice very rarely answer the phone and paid £30 deposit. Was sent incorrect date by text which I then spent 45 minutes changing to the correct day (again poor answering service). Was sent a text cancelling 2 working days before appointment so tried to call but could only afford 30 minutes wait on phone. Was sent standard text following day confirming appointment so again tried to call to discuss but again no phone pick up for 45 minutes. Did not attend as can't afford wasted time out of work but called to rebook for which I was told I'd need to pay another £30 deposit. Receptionist agreed she'd sent me cancellation by mistake but refused to carry over my deposit. Can't afford to rebook. Hope the hygienist reads this as she loses out as well from practice's incompetence.

On a check up with someone I had never seen before the whole appt was spent trying to sell me implants. I explained this was not an option as I couldn't afford them. Next appt they had changed me to a different dentist who only worked the same part time days I do but was told a flat no, it was not possible to change me to another dentist when I requested this. Realising I still had this appt booked I rang to cancel. I explained the situation and was informed I should have been told that the original dentist had moved me as he does not see NHS patients and that there was a dentist who I could have been moved to who worked on my available says. After 20yrs I feel I have been forced to move because I am NHS. Mt star rating is for Helen, the hygienist, who is amazing
