I can’t say enough good things about my experience at this dental clinic. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Babita and Nadia were absolutely incredible—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Babita handled my treatment with such precision and calm that I felt completely at ease, even though I usually get nervous at the dentist. She explained every step clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Nadia was equally amazing—her friendly demeanor and reassuring presence made the whole visit feel more like catching up with a friend than a dental appointment. Having left my own local dental practice due to a brutal hygienist and rude management and staff, I was unable to find an NHS replacement, locally, but still no regrets leaving my previous practice. I decided to try Copse Lane Dental Surgery (as it was when I was a patient in 2018) since changed to South Cliff Dental Group and I was not disappointed. From the helpful receptionist who I first spoke to on the phone, to the receptionist who was very friendly when I phoned enroute with heavy traffic concerns (I was driving 35 miles!) to the receptionist who greeted me, all so-far-so-good! I then met Rosemi, my new hygienist. What can I say but absolutely fantastic. Rosemi was the first, ever, hygienist to use numbing gel and what a difference it made. Even without that, though, I have no doubt it would have been painless as she took her time, was meticulous and so gentle. Unlike my previous gung-ho hygienist (in Poole, Dorset) who left me in pain for 3 days. I never had any pain following my treatment with Rosemi. Next, I met my dentist, Shabana, for a check-up and X-rays. Another great experience. Shabana listened to some of my Dental history and was able to answer my queries thoroughly. I then met the Manager and made my payment. Again, the manager was extremely polite and friendly. All in all, South Cliff Dental Group appears to have a great team and I have no hesitation in making the 70 mile round trip, twice a year for both hygienist and check-up appointments. I hope all concerned get to see my review and thank you again! I'll see you all in 6 months 😬😊 EDIT: I had my return visit this week (24/11/25). Apparently Rosemi was covering for another hygienist, Rohan and although I asked for the numbing gel, he suggested seeing what my gum sensitivity was like first and I had nothing to worry about as he, too, took his time and it was absolutely painless. To all brutal hygienists out there, Rosemi and Rohan both prove that there is just no need to have your patients in pain!! I then saw Shabana for the second time and again, excellent experience as she really took the time to listen to my concerns and is making a hospital referral for me (to do with my jawbone not my teeth!) Again, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. It seems that nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff at South Cliff Dental Practice in Hamble. What an 'all round' great team!
