About 7 months ago I had a filling here. The practice was very under staffed and the dentist was off his feet constantly even answering calls whilst trying to attend to my appointment. He very quickly put my filling in and that was that. 6 months later that tooth breaks in half in my mouth. I return and Jaan different dentist tells me I need a crown. I chose a private crown for £600 he prepped the tooth for the crown to be fitted 2 weeks later. He also mentioned that there was decay under the tooth which suggests that a filling should not have been put on that tooth with out something else doing first. The day came and 30 minutes before my appointment was due, while I was already on my way driving to the appointment they called to cancel and said the crown wasn’t ready. I was very upset but the lab apparently wasn’t finished with the crown so we rescheduled for a week later, the day came and 30 minutes before appointment was due again they called and cancelled again saying the dentist was off sick. I was not happy at all went down there anyway and let them know. This time leading up to the appointment the temporary cap they had put on after prep had come off and I was in pain not able to drink water or eat.they didn’t care at all. The following day my crown was fitted. A week later it hasn’t settled it’s high in my mouth I can’t close my mouth or chew properly and it feels like it’s moved. Horrifying experience with staff who look very badly treated and as a result don’t care to do their job properly. I’ve now had to find another dentist to look at my crown as I just don’t trust them to fix it or look at. Payed £600 for 3 weeks of worry, pain, distress and at the end of it all a terrible job. This is the first review I’ve ever left for any business but I thought people had to know how terrible their service was. Ownership of this franchise are apparently very bad people and it shows in how their staff carry out their roles. Especially their admin staff / reception. The dentist Jaan is a lovely man but is at least 80 years old and can barely walk this man doesn’t want to work anymore but he’s the only dentist there and they won’t let him retire
