Absolutely flawless experience this morning having a Root Canal. The process was quick, simple and completely painless. I was booked in quickly around my schedule and the treatment took an hour from walking in to leaving. The team were friendly and made me feel at ease about the process, explaining what would take place and the reasons why. This was particularly helpful for me as someone who has a Neurodivergent condition and often struggles to understand what is happening without visuals. For anyone who is apprehensive about having this procedure I can say that there is no need and having had a root canal in the past somewhere else this was by far a step above the rest, I would recommend to anyone! This dental surgery is a hiiden gem in Portsmouth! I was a bit traumatised in the past by the previous treatments so was delaying this visit as long as possible. The team made me very welcomed and Dr Vanderley da Silva with his assistant were exceptional! Absolutely fantastic treatment. Made me feel very at ease and confident considering what a nervous wreck i was! Treatment wise very gentle and explained the process the whole time and checked i was ok all the way through. So good ive booked my second treatment before leaving :)

My second route canal treatment here. The first one was 5 years ago and that tooth was recently xrayed and is lasting well. This tooth was in a bad way. Dani and her team have done a good job and have hopefully save this one too. Not an enjoyable visit but necessary. Dani's considerable knowledge and experience, the high tech equipment used and the purposeful atmosphere of the staff who worked well as a team is re-assuring. I would wish to come here again if similar treatment was needed on another bad tooth in the future; but hope I can look after them better and another visit will not be needed.
