I was charged £70 for a missed appointment. I hope the £70 worth losing the price of two implants that now I will pay somewhere else.
In reply to your note: you lecturing me about respect is a bit hypocritical, considering that your receptionist was rude, arrogant and talked to me like I was some sort of criminal. Also when I I went for my first appointment, the dentist was over 30 minutes late. Guess my time is not respect worthy from you.
I hear what you’re saying, however sometimes life happens, and people miss their appointment. As long as it’s not a repeating “offence”, it’s something that I can understand.
I guess you are less understanding, and for you £70 is more important than the struggles of your customers.
PS: reading the other reviews, maybe some staff training on things like customer interaction would be beneficial.
In reply to your edited note:
I can see you changed the tone and adopted a more sarcastic, condescending tone, blaming me. I believe this is called gaslighting. I must’ve touched a nerve.
The problem is not with my high expectations. The problem is that you demand respect but fail to be respectful. You don’t see any problem with the tone of your receptionist, you don’t see any problem with your dentist wasting my time, you can only see that I missed my appointment and you don’t care why.
I’m reply to the third version of your note:
Your audit also found that your receptionist wasn’t rude to me, and it’s all my fault, so I would question the correctness of your audit. You are condescending and sarcastic, even in this note, just like in the previous ones that you deleted.
I wasn’t threatening, that’s another distorted perception of reality of yours. I said to your receptionist that I hope he doesn’t mind that I will leave a negative review, and he said that I can do that. I asked permission, and he was fine it. If he would’ve said he would prefer me not to do it, I wouldn’t have done it. How is this a threat?
I couldn’t agree more about the mutual respect. However the key word is mutual. You have shown zero respect towards me. You are demanding respect, but you don’t give respect. Other reviews supports this, it’s not just me.
The bottom line is that I didn’t missed my appointment for fun. I’ve been missing half of my tooth for more than a month and I would very much like to be sorted. I got muddled with the appointments and the days. If your receptionist would have shown a tiny bit of empathy and not talking to me like I was scum, I would’ve took it on the chin and rebook an appointment.
