My partner and I got back a couple of weeks ago from our second trip to Istanbul for the fitting of our implants. I had a full mouth restoration, and my partner had 5 implants and a root canal on his back teeth. The service, communication, explanations and support have been first class from day one, and any questions or queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Laurence, Kateeja or the dental team. The hotel was great - friendly, helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms, with a nice bar/restaurant downstairs to hang out in if you don’t quite feel up to exploring further afield after dentistry. Kateeja accompanied us to all the dental appointments a short walk from the hotel, and offered us all the information and support we needed throughout. She was kind and genuine and checked on us regularly when we were recovering, as well as helping us enjoy the city. She paid attention to detail, like making sure our appointments were close together so that we had time to go out and explore. The dental team were friendly and professional with state-of-the-art equipment. On both visits we made the most of the opportunity to extend our stay to enjoy Istanbul and explore further into Turkey, both were enchanting, and the second visit was made better by having got the hang of the transport system and general layout of Istanbul on our first visit. Istanbul’s transport system is excellent and cheap which makes exploring the city easy and fun! Laurence made sure we had a positive experience, including some time out from dentistry and booked us a boat cruise on the Bosphorus and a Turkish hammam, both of which were easy and really enjoyable. Despite being nerve-wracking at the beginning, the whole experience was made so much better by relaxing into the feeling of being supported and taken care of by the TruDental team. They cover everything except flights and food, so all you have to think about is your dental process and recovery. Having a full mouth restoration was an overwhelming thought at the beginning, but being supported every step of the way made it much less daunting than if I’d had to organise everything myself, in a country where I don’t speak the language. And we’d have easily spent the money we’ve invested in ourselves on expensive short-term dental treatments in the UK over the next few years. Now, at the other end of the journey, we’re both delighted with our new teeth, not just the natural look, but also the return to proper chewing which makes food and eating a wonderful experience again! We’ve spent time exploring and falling in love with Istanbul and Turkey which has been a fantastic experience, and we’ll come back again. If you’re thinking about doing something about major dental treatment, consider 1) going with TruDental for their excellent support, care and value-for-money, 2) go with a friend or family member for company/support as it’s inexpensive to have a second person in your hotel room, and 3) spend some of the money you’re saving on dentistry taking a holiday to enjoy Istanbul - it’s a life-changing experience! For the big dental work we’d been dreading, we couldn’t have chosen better than TruDental.

I came across TruDental Tourism on Facebook, and at first, I was quite hesitant. I didn’t want to spend a large amount of money on something that might not be worth it. But I’m truly glad I gave it a chance. What impressed me the most was their process — before you agree to any payment or procedure, they make sure you fully understand everything through a Zoom Consultation. You can ask as many questions as you need until you feel completely confident before paying any deposit. Once I made the payment, I was amazed by how organized and professional their staff were. They constantly reminded me of the steps I needed to take and the documents I had to submit. I genuinely felt their warmth and dedication from start to finish — from the onboarding, throughout the dental procedures, and even after everything was done. What a week! I was very nervous at first but thanks to Kateeja and Maria, I got through it and I’m so glad I did. I first started having issues with my teeth in my early 20s. I would eat lots of sugary stuff and I guess I wasn’t the most dilligent brusher either! Trudental popped onto my radar after a friend came back from treatment. She persuaded me to get in touch. I made a quick decision and took a leap of faith. I felt a lot better doing so knowing people which had already gone through the process. I arrived in Istanbul and was met by a very fancy car / limo not really sure how to describe it but a cross between the two! That was fun and the hotel was very nice too. Special thanks Veyis (hotel manager) who really helped us when the shower water didn’t get hot enough. This was the only issue everything else was good. The next morning I was met by Kateeja at the hotel. We had a quick coffee and walked to the clinic together. Treatment went well although I needed a couple of extra root canals but I did think this could be a possibility and was also warned the plan could change. Istanbul is an amazing city and I will be back for sure. I could have never afforded to sort my teeth out in the UK, prices are just ridiculous and having a holiday at the same time in Turkey tops the expereince. I'm really glad I had my dental treatment in Istanbul with Trudental. It was a really good process and experience. I felt relaxed and at ease with Laurence instantly through our initial communications and felt I could trust him to provide my treatment and trip conscientiously and ethically. All the stages worked well and were positive. He gave me an estimate of what work was needed and the pricing in advance, based on photos so I had an idea of what to expect. He booked my hotel, arranged for my pickup from the airport to the hotel; which is only 5 minutes walk from the dentist. Sharon the American nurse came to meet me the following morning and explained how everything would go, and walked with me to the dentist. She guided me through the whole process and stayed with me through every stage. The assessment based on the x-ray was different to what I expected and I needed more work, but because she explained it based on the images, I understood that they were recommending what was best for me in the long term. So I went with the proposal. All the work (extractions and implants) was done that morning. Sharon then took me back to the hotel with all the medications I needed to recover and heal without pain. (My friend was with me too and very supportive). I rested overnight, got checked up on at the dentist the following day, and was able to go sightseeing in the city the next 2 days. Sharon and Laurence were always available on whatsapp to answer any questions or concerns and provide any extra support I needed. I look forward to going back in a few months to get the teeth (crowns) added and finally get my smile and chewability back! And I look forward to seeing more of Istanbul in the summer. All in all, highly recommended.

Went for my second visit with Trudental, I was already in Istanbul but I contacted Laurence to see if I could get minor work done. I just needed fillings, cleaning, and whitening, which I was happy I could do here since I have had negative experiences at the dentist in America. Sharon was there to greet me and discuss what I needed and got the x rays. The dentist was great and very gentle and spoke English well which was a huge help to be able to discuss what he was doing and what to expect. I was very satisfied with the results and was happy I got back in touch since my first experience with them was also positive overall. I really recommend this company and will definitely go back if I need more work in the future

I've recently returned from having treatment with Trudental in Istanbul. I was pretty anxious, I'd describe myself as 'risk averse',but it was a painless, even enjoyable experience! I was initially looking for treatment for my partner who needed a whole mouth restoration but could not find a dentist. A friend told him she’d been for treatment with Trudental and was really happy with the result. We studied the Trudental website and were reassured by their reviews. We arranged a call with Laurence and after talking about J’s needs I also asked about getting my denture replaced as I'd lost my two front teeth in a bike accident years ago. We sent photos of our mouths and a couple of days later we received provisional treatment plans. The quotes from Trudental were about 20% of the cost of the same treatments in the UK, but hotel accommodation, breakfasts, airport transfers, support from Trudental staff and even some entertainment was included in the price. A week later, after some more research, we booked our flights. From the moment we landed on Monday evening, we were really well looked after. Laurence was in constant communication with us. The limo was lovely, really comfortable and the drinks and snacks were much appreciated. Trudental had booked us into Blisstanbul Hotel, we had a good sized room, very clean, with comfortable beds and in a convenient location to explore fascinating Istanbul. On Tuesday morning, after breakfast, nurse Sharon took us on a short walk to the clinic where we were greeted by the friendly staff. 360 degree X-rays established the best treatment for our individual cases. The facilities were clean, comfortable and high tech. J's treatment plan was much as initially proposed, he did need a sinus lift and a few cc of bone grafts which sound scary but turned out to not be a big deal. On this visit he was to have extractions, implants and a temporary denture. My bone wasn't sufficient for implants, so the best approach for structure, function and aesthetics was for crowns and a bridge, to be completed on this visit Laurence sent us our slightly revised treatment plans and costs and Sharon made sure we understood the procedures and were happy to go ahead. Our dentist was very quick, gentle, thorough, kind and patient. After J’s 90 minutes of treatment we took him back to the hotel, via the pharmacy, where Sharon got the antibiotics, painkillers and medicated mouthwash he needed. While he slept my teeth were prepared for the crowns, which only took 40 minutes. The dentist adjusted my denture so I could still wear it while the bridge and crowns were being made. Thursday was first fittings, my new teeth were a little bit bright. The clinic said they'd darken them a shade overnight. J was given a check up. Laurence had booked us a complimentary dinner cruise on the Bosporus for that evening, we were picked up in a very plush minibus and driven through the city. The cruise was cheesy but fun. Friday lunchtime I had my crowns and bridge fitted, I was very happy with the result. J collected his temporary dentures. Our driver picked us up mid afternoon, giving us time to get through the airport and onto the plane home. We met an English couple who had quite a different experience of Turkey, we realised that having the whole trip organised by Trudental had saved us a lot of expense and difficulty. We've come home buzzing, I hadn't realised how much my teeth were affecting my confidence but now I open my mouth when I smile. My friends tell me they look fantastic and totally natural. We go back in March for the second and final part of J's treatment and we are already looking forward to it. Laurence has checked in with us several times since our return to make sure Jon is healing up OK, which he is, and that I’m happy with my new teeth. We feel very well looked after by Trudental and everyone they work with. I had been doubtful that a trip to the dentist could also be a holiday but it was a really enjoyable experience!

My experience with TruDental was entirely positive. Lawrence's attention to detail was superb, in the planning phase, during the run-up to arriving in Istanbul as well as while I was actually there (and afterwards). I felt that all my needs were being considered with a high level of sensitivity and attentiveness throughout the process, and my treatment progress was monitored very efficiently. Any queries I had were answered promptly via WhatsApp and Laurence seemed to be always available. (I began wondering 'when does he sleep'!) The clinic was modern, very hi-tech and well equipped - I was instantly impressed by the all-in-one x-ray setup. This yielded a full-mouth image which was very high definition, putting to shame the old-school 'card in the cheek' dental x-rays commonly used in the UK....in fact, being able to see so much more clearly led to a slight tweak to the planned treatment - rather than fitting a crown to an existing tooth, which was the original plan, we ended up (having spotted some infection around its root in the x-ray) deciding on an implant, to which a crown will be fitted on a subsequent visit. I had three successive days of clinic visits and dealt with two different dentists. One of them was a root-canal specialist, who did this for me on Day 2. The work on Days 1 and 3 was done by a super-accomplished young dentist. Communication was great during all the aspects of treatment. I felt safe and well-informed regarding what was about to happen - this alleviated a great deal of possible worry, and was much appreciated. I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to going back. This is something I would never have thought possible in anticipation of dental treatment! Financially, even with accommodation, flights and ground transport factored in, the visit was very affordable compared to any of my UK options. This is still the case when including my future visit to get the crown fitted. I feel that I've given myself a fresh start after having neglected my dental health for over a decade. My 'no-pain-therefore-no-problem' approach was bound to run out of road at some point and when it did I'm very happy that I was recommended to contact TruDental. I unhesitatingly recommend the company, the wonderful Laurence and his superbly professional colleagues at the dental clinic. I thank all of them most sincerely for their help and feel very fortunate to have been able to benefit from their collective expertise.
